Make aggressive replication a possible corruption of some programs. (You can still add it on purpose, but now if you get EMPed and you have nanites, you might end up being eaten by your own nanites so they can make babies.)

Place nanite sting in smart or harmonic instead of military because no one wants to have to analyze extremely hard to obtain technology just to get infectious nanites.

Infective nanites are hard to get because they break the main point of nanites - voluntary great gains at huge risk. Infection makes nanites much more powerful by affecting the unwilling, and therefore it has to be limited to avoid abuse.

I at least want nanite sting to be locked behind something that is found on the station rather than RNG Lavaland nonsense.
