but nobody does objectives, especially as wizard

give some rewards for achieving objectives as wiz, a minor buff at least

with how much mobility spells wizards have itd actually make a lot of sense if they had some kind of objective to plant wizard bombs or something in specific areas of the station

maybe not literal bombs but you know

the portal thing was an example, not what should be the gamemode, wiz is perceived and played as terrorism with magic in an oil rig, but the gamemode depth is only in its uplink and the rest pretty much doesnt exist.
example of terrorism acts that could be part of a progression, so wiz isnt just "here is fireball and a bunch of click this if you are in trouble", do x to get more spell points:
-free monkyfy spell and turn everyone into monkys obj
-find magic potential spell which can show if someone could be an apprentice and ask them if they want to antag
-destroy technology items
- do magic rite with some objects or people in a rune to summon magical creatures

what is the point of balancing items around "well you only have X amount so better be resourceful" if people consistently suggest ways to increase that amount.

but wizard should have literally hijack tier objectives since he's so strong

Alright, instead of "summoning an ash-drake" one wizard objective should be bringing a megafauna upon the station.

like a wizard will literally have to drag a megafauna onto the mining shuttle, literally defend the shuttle from being destroyed/getting announced when people realize what he's doing. It'll be hard but wizard tier powers will balance this.

Another one should be, to create a singulo/tesla into existence.

It's magical "chaotic" being tier for sure.

because these "hardest" objectives are barely related to the theme of the strongest antag

My mans whole theme is causing chaos

When we think "Chaotic ss13" end round we think of an ash drake breathing fire over the cook, a singularity eating everything, and an eldritch abomination blotting out the sun.

Peak ss13.

Maybe give the wizard an objective to nuke the station while we're at it.
