I am not happy with current options for chemical/virus packaging ChemMaster offers.
What we have now?
Raw pills that are always the same size so you better make it large dose to not waste inventory space, they also magically fit pretty long text
Patches, unable to instantly self-apply and lower max dosage than pill but works through clothing
Bottles, barely counts as "packaging"
Pill bottles. Those things come in limited supply unless you got plastic and autolathe and fit whopping 7 (seven) pills. What it's good for? 350u worth of chemicals you can quickly self-apply at best.
Chem bags. 50 pills no matter the size, 2500u of chemicals max, recently nerfed to take your belt slot for dubious reasons.
What I'd like to see:
Pill bottles fitting more low-dosage pills.
Pill blister packs introduced. This container would also fit varying amount of pills depending on dosage and would deny option of putting pill back in after popping one out, providing tamper resistance IRL ones do.
Those containers being cheap and easy to use. Perhaps just load ChemMaster with plastic?
Chem bags size depending on contents volume
Perhaps, pills losing ability to magically fit rather large amounts of text which should be placed on containers. IRL pills are rather hard to identify outside of packaging.
Why this is good for game?
Fridges and giant piles of pills or patches being current best tactic for pill storage - bad.
Inspired by pill-related policy thread post.
Walk up to protolathe with miners alive and you got your normal-sized 1000u worth of plasma. You can even set it on fire! 2500u is bad because?.. 5u of lexorin will likely kill you. Every carbon around you is 1000u beaker. It's not like you put chembags into grenade casings.
