Allow clown car to automatically pick up people on "rest"

Clown wasting all his TC on item that loses to a button. Also the crew continues to do their thing BUT horizontal.

What if we gave the clown car the ability to ollie like a skateboard and if you land an ollie on a person at rest it picks them up? Could also make it if you run out of clown car stamina everyone falls out like hitting a wall too.

It's zero effort to completely dominate a round. Maybe add an alternative avoidance mechanism if resting is too easy, but I think being rewarded for some skill, knowledge and quick thinking is an acceptable way to go.

Maybe make shields block it? That would at least give security some means of stopping it and give the clown something to avoid.

It's undeniably extremely powerful. Anything that can slam 20 people into space or the supermatter is extremely strong, especially while being incredibly tanky, unstunnable and permastunning everyone it comes across if they dont react quickly enough

Sure, but you're usually killing yourself to do that. I just thought it was entirely memey even if it was genuinely kind of unavoidable in certain circumstances. Which I would agree, it shouldn't be particularly stronger than it is already, since it's already so powerful.

The school of hard knocks doesn't seem like the best choice of balance for a fast item that most players can't break with station items.

Well they can. But then it kills you and everyone in the car. There is no reasonable way to deal with the car except somehow magically box it in.

Oh wait that's just the forcefield generator.

I bolted and firelocked it in Delta's medbay by the foyer as AI the other day but some PIG FUCK freed it. Which I guess is to say that it isn't that hard to stop it in its tracks. Still an annoying unbalanced meme item that can easily kill half the server and stops everyone doing whatever they were doing at the time of their abduction. Resting being an unintentional counter that most people forget or don't have a chance to use seems fine to me. I also do not trust Goofball's judgement about this as he tends to go off half-cocked.
