Skeleton Healing

Skeletons are a nice race that you can play as.
As you all know skeletons mainly heal with milk as suture/membrane or patches don't work. The problem is that milk doesn't heal burns which leads to the only easily getable option being the tend wounds surgery which is quite annoying.(synthflesh may work I'm not sure but it's hard to get)
I suggest coding the ability of milk to heal the burn damage of skeletons.

When i changed skeletons into being unable to process reagents i have to admit i didn't consider that the vast majority of healing is still reagent-based. The fact that they were pretty much wizard-only meant that when this issue came out, it was mostly regarded as a balancing factor to the many advantages of skeletons.

If i were to tackle the issue of skeleton healing now, i'd nerf milk, making it much less effective (since it's based on a meme and not an actual design decision), and instead add an 'official' method of healing (that would probably involve some kind of dark ritual that requires some preparation, materials, and/or time to complete), plus some alternative options: one that requires the help of another person (so perhaps a "mend bones" surgery, a bit faster than tend wounds) and one that involves harming others (something like harvesting 'necromantic energy' from recently dead corpses, making their organs decay faster).

I mean the only ways of healing without magic is just milk, synthflesh and surgery. Also skeletons can't get implanted because you litteraly can't inject them since there's no exposed piece of body on them, suture doesn't work as well because of that reason.

I read the non-boring parts of Michael Crichton's Prey when I was but a boy and nanites could be flesh

I feel like any implementation of that will just end up being the same as or similar to slime people

hm yes I, a skeleton pirate, will casually acquire an advanced medical chem that nobody makes because it isn't of much use to anyone who can take tox damage.

Imagine if said skeleton pirate STILL gets toxin damage while using it.

Though I don't know if it does that or not, I would not be surprised.

what about making skellies take burn damage as brute instead
or convert burn into brute over time as the bones cool down but they've taken thermal shock and become brittle or some shit

Synthflesh healing skeletons is dumb.

Make them heal from bone gel application lol.
