I think it'd be cool if we had more ways of producing small bits of power. It seems to me that pretty much everything we have is designed for large scale power production capable of sustaining the entire station, but it'd be nice to have more things like generators which could just power a room or department.

They'd all probably be pretty primitive and dependent upon active interaction, an idea I had was like a bike you pedal to generate power. (make monkeys able to use these depending on what you want). Or chemists being able to turn reagent containers (multiple for bigger systems) into batteries and make power that way.

Would be neat I think.

Isn't this what the pacman are for? I know we dropped the top-tier one, but that leaves two mat-driven generators still.

we need a generator that’s chemical fuel driven

chemistry can make the fuel for the generator, giving them more content
make the chem power generator not require a board to construct, this is old technology that has zero electronics in it.

This is great, make a bigger version that you can wire into a powergrid too and it'll be perfect (you could make the bigger one look like a hamster wheel too)
