Bottom post of the previous page:

Change the Extended game mode to have increased random event rates! Instead of a single antagonist or forcing an admin to do all the fun, the higher chance of side antagonists (abductors, revenants, weak blobs, ninjas, etc) will provide a more varied experience, more anomaly chances for Science to make a Phazon or get research up faster, things to keep the Engineers busy, etc.

All operative pinpointers to switch between the disc and the nuke as it's target, allowing operatives who have gotten lost or abandoned the ability to find their way between the two most important things in the game. Have it require a syndicate firing pin, so only the syndicates can swap between the two objectives.

A better option than changing Extended mode itself might be to create a 'clone' called 'Eventfull Extended' or such?

A hairband that allows those with certain long hair styles to tie their hair up without using a mirror.

A pocket mirror so you can change your hairstyle on the go.

That could also be used to block/deflect lasers.

A laser reflecting glitterbomb?

My god.

The sparkleeffect should not be removable from a mob by any means including removing clothing.

What if radiation from Uranium statues and radiation events had a chance of mutating simple mobs in to other simple mods or in to something deadlier?

One moment Ian is being adorable and the next it's an angry Goliath.
Maybe a wizard summoned the mass producing mob event and some enterprising scientist setup a uranium statue to irradiate all of the rats in maintenance.

Traitor Item: FEV Syringe. Inject it into anything and expose to minor radiation to make it incredibly strong and hostile.

Combo with the radiation medi-scanner, and you have horribly monster timebombs.

Add the gun receiver to the random Maintenance item list.
It'll give people a chance to actually use the Pipe shotgun.

The modular receiver should be an autolathe item, not a protolathe item. There is no point in Science making GARBAGE MAKESHIFT guns, leave that to the assistants. Science should be able to make its own, proper shotgun. It makes little sense that they can make all these wonderful tech shells but cannot make a shotgun to use them!

Make them able to create more riot shotguns?

Honestly yeah the modular receiver should be able to be made in the autolathe/found in maint.

No I mean the cape should have exo item slot, like armor or hardsuit to put item in i.e. so HoS cape can hold a taser.

For all I know AIs do not regenerate "health"/system integrity unless put into an integrity restorer.

I suggest making living AIs slowly regenerate on their own if that is the case.

Traitors should resist loyalty implants. and with that. Abusing the shit out of loyalty implants, via implanting everybody that comes into sec should be considered meta-gaming and bwoinkable.

AIs natrually "heal" damage from power loss (treated as oxyloss). The AI does not recover from brute damage natrually, the only way to repair it is with the integrity restorer.

Please tell me I read that wrong, because that's the dumbest thing I have heard this year.
You are saying implanting should become the new syndicakes meta (because, let's face it, if there's a way to test a player for valids, people will use it), while also threatening with admin intervention if the warden implants new officers?
Were you loyalty implanted during gang/rev against your will, while trying to infiltrate security? Because that's the only time loyalty implants can be 'abused' by unintentionally confirming a gamemode.

I think he means implanting every person that passes through the brig, rather than everyone that joins the security department.

Regardless, it's a bad idea. It is already the current meta to camp out cargo and implant everyone possible for several game modes (because that's realistically the only way to survive in gang, rev, and what used to be cult). Given implants don't actually hurt anyone, there's no reason for security not to extend this.

Punishment for wearing it but keeping it off is being slipcuffstripped.

Automated pneumatic cannon. Stick a cyborg arm on a Pneumatic cannon on a thing that generates signals (prox sensor, timer, etc). Signal gets received, pneumatic cannon fires in a direction.

hell, automated triggers for any gun to fire that way would be pretty sweet (I've been replaying New Vegas lately so those tripwires rigged to shotguns you find around the place come to mind)

Sprite load for that would be crazy, though. I suppose you could throw a package wrapper that covers the gun into the mix and use a single generic sprite.

Hell, even rigging a gun to a door that blasts whoever bumps it open would be amazing.

.. for that matter, does attaching a signaler to a door open wire make it trigger when the door is opened, or is it only the other way around?

Re: Minor Suggestions

The other way around. When the signal is sent, the wire is pulsed like you used a multitool. Attach it to the bolts wire on Escape airlocks for an easier hijack.

damnit make that a thing

I want to rig my assassination target's door to ping me when they enter or leave their workplace (or hide a TTV under the captain's office door that's triggered by said door opening, rather than relying on proximity triggers which may just be set off by someone walking past)

It should definitely send a signal when the door is opened if it's attached to the Open Door wire.
