2-4 TC?

It's a small knife that when bought, comes with a scabbard that can be strapped to a players leg (or somewhere else?) and cannot be seen unless the character has no clothes on (or maybe they have to have no clothes on + be examined?).
The knife can be removed from its scabbard with a verb (or emote, or both?) possibly with an emote? It's a knife meant to be used for stealth, so maybe there shouldn't be a message?
I'm not well-versed on damage values like a turbonerd so it should probably be equal to something painful, probably equivalent to the TC cost.
Sorry for having such a poorly-written post, but it's late and I'm bad at explaining.
Somewhat related, but I was more thinking not a concealed version, more of a TACTICOOL combat knife, with a exosuit/jumpsuit accessory sheath, so you can whip out your knife as a nuke op/deathsquad/shitcurity and stab fucks. Would be pretty neat.
Maybe have a tacticool knife with suit sheath for like, nuke ops and squids and also mad as fuc traitors. But the dagger still should be available.

Flash protection is only really useful vs wall/porta flashers.

So the eyepatch getting flash protection isn't exactly a great advantage, nor is not having it a huge advantage.
So just add it for the sake of consistancy
>what are flashbangs
If you take the eyepatch as HoS you lose your single most powerful room clearing weapon in exchange for... looking a little better.
This, basically. Especially against greytiders, flashbangs are super useful.
None of the HUDs have flashbang/flash protection, none of the eyepatches have flashbang/flash protection, and this is a combination of the two, so I don't see why it should have flash protection.

get ready for pap PR changing sec to spawn with non-sunglasses secHUDs ASAP

We can move past open lockers, we can climb tables, and we can kick racks to get around them.

Why are crates still the bane of our existence when it comes to moving past them? Whats exactly stopping a spaceman from just moving around it?

I've died to a crate trapping my way with mr.singulo on the loose more then I'd like to admit, so literally i died, pls nerf.

If that is the case, allow people into crates, too.

Also, drinks should be sprayable to intoxicate people.

Which one of these is the security HUD and which one is a sunhud?

Cool because last time I checked HUDs don't have flash protection.

Can we change the name of the ablative vest? Ablative armor is armor that melts or breaks apart in order to disperse energy, and our "ablative" armor is actually just reflective. It tickles my autisms

Coincidentally also the HUD all Security officers get. It doesn't matter which one's labelled a Security HUD - it matters which one is the HUD that is standard use for Security - which has flash protection, as opposed to the HUD specifically designed for the Head of Security, which does not. Regardless of what you want to think of as 'The SecHUD', that's not an argument not to give the HoS's HUD flash protection.

Can you people not forget about shitty stats and protections if you want to look cool?

Wear your shitty powergaming clothes then. It's even better that way, because you see that one guy who will give anything for an extra point in some armor value or whatever. It's like when you see captain who breaks out his lasgun out of the case, you know with who you're gonna be dealing with.

Cipher what I'm trying to say is eyepatches don't offer flash protection and HUDs don't offer flash protection so the EYEPATCH HUD DOESN'T OFFER FLASH PROTECTION IT IS LITERALLY THE SIMPLEST CONCEPT ON EARTH

Add an autosynch option to ExoFabs. Every time the levels on the local research computer increase, the fabricator automatically synchronises, unless it currently working.

I think that feature can simply be copied over from Bay.

I guess it's not a minor suggestion, but: More in-depth augments would be awesome

Eyes that had built-in hud/xray/whatever, with powerful augments made at great expense in the form of minerals
Arm upgrades that can give you the armblade/maybe a stock tool or two
Leg augments can have speed or maybe an equivalent to magboots
etc.

Obviously you can only have 1 augment/limb, forcing people to choose which hilariously strong ability they want

...Of course, augments should still assplode when EMP'd. Keeps it balanced and actually fairly risky. Fully augmented Jensen HoS? Too bad that ling just screeched and both your arms and head exploded.

That's actually not a bad idea. I would argue it would make more sense to still display the filename no matter what, just so people with midis off can know what they're missing out on.

You should give it to head + Captain announcements only. It could perhaps replace the AI's Vox.

Always thought it was kinda odd that every gun is semi automatic. If i recall, the mech AC2 fires in bursts does it not? Could this be applied to other guns? The L6 only firing semi automatic is kind of absurd

The Syndie SMG and AR, as well as the R&D SMG have a burst setting (although the syndie rifle's seems borked, must verify later.)

And lowering the damage to fifteen so a four-round burst does 60 seems perfectly fine. Otherwise you get a gun that dishes out 25 crits.

How about ammo holders? Like a box or something. It'd be a small/medium container that only holds boolits, and if you apply it to a gun, it tries to load whatever's in the box in the gun. Saves space in shit like the barman's backpack.

People should be able to request books at the public library computer, and the librarian can choose whether or not to print those books out. Kind of like what we have for Cargo requests.

Since the chef can put food in vending machines now, they need a vendor right outside their kitchen specifically made for their food. Also, chef should probably have botany access in case the hippies don't grow anything other than weed and 100 potency bananas.

Hacking the Booze-O-Mat should allow you to get a Bottle of Nothing.
