250 player rounds and a city map

Long into the future someday /tg/ will get a better server so it can host more people. 250 player rounds! But the issue with 250 player rounds is that said rounds will last microseconds and there is not enough space to hold that many people. delta and meta maybe have a chance but still. So why not prepare a map for it?

So we are going to divide the map into 3 sections which each have different social statuses depending on what is housed there.


Downtown will have engineering and cargo as those two have an equal social status of being yelled at a lot.

Middle town will house medical, Dorms and most of service because those have the equal social status of being liked

Uptown will house command, Science, and escape, are in uptown because they house the most important people.


Each department will have their own buildings, each ranging in quality of said building. The way they will travel the city is by tram, taxi, or car.

The taxi could be run by a player so they can make some creds, the car the player could buy from a dealer

Now let us assume /tg/ has a good economic system and a very very big tech tree. Each department could be many companies that are making the department.

Cargo could be made up of mail companies, engineering has repair companies.

medical will be pharma, Dorms could be Real estate, and service could be restaurants and bars.

command could be the government, science will be science companies and escape could be travel companies.


Is this going to happen?

No Most likely not. By the time /tg/ gets 250 people servers, ss13 will be a ghost in the wind.

there was a server for city RP, I think it shut down.

Moore's law taken to its logical extreme, someday tg will get better servers
Unfortunately, software tends to fill to meet its boundaries, so if we get twice as good servers someone will just add like the shadow realm or something and we'll lose all our cpu and ram again

/tg/station City Map designed for 100 players, kept in reserve for the next wave or peak hours, would be nice.
