Gacha vending machine on bridge.

Capsule machines are fun. Them providing random items from a long list prevents the balance of any one item from causing a problem.
What I am suggesting would feature mini items, who's gimmick would be they break after 5 uses. Each pull on the gacha would cost 100$, credits, whatever. It could be a long list of gacha weapons, so a mini fire axe, sword, baton, kinetic accelerator and so on, then have a rare chance of gacha copies of syndicate items, so a camera tap you can use 5 times, a cryptographic sequencer, or airlock unlocker you can use once. And then in the 1/100 category you could have the fun stuff, like a spell teaching totem, an active facehugger, or forcing the escape shuttle to be disco inferno, and renaming the Escape Shuttle to "All JC Denton's fault", or whatever the name of the entity was that got this roll.
Could be fun. Could add some variety, and give people an incentive to get money and test their luck
As for the effect this would have on the meta. This would be an easy way for security and antagonists to get weapons, but their 5 limit use will force them to change up frequently. Meaning the traitor can get a bag full of weapons, but if he goes down, those can get passed out like candy throughout the red shirts, and now suddenly they have the edge.
