Changeling Non-Murderbone Ability

Changelings are the perfect killing machines. Regeneration, Assassination, and one million different disguises.

What can you give them to make them not feel so samey every round?

Full. Immersion.

You've heard of having changelings abandoning their disguise to become brutal killing machines.

But have you ever heard of changelings abandoning their lethal abilities in exchange for being able to deeply intertwine themselves within a role?

"Parasitic Revival"

Upon killing another player, the ling will do the same choke-grip they would do to absorb someone. But instead of absorbing them, the ling sinks in and revives them. Turning simply into a guiding presence in the back of their mind. Able to force on new directives to their host at will. When the host dies again, the ling explodes out of them, as if they used the last resort ability.

It'll be much easier to fake and replace a head of staff member, if you aren't replacing them at all. But are instead brainwashing them from within their own mind, undetectably!!!

Here's an idea for a Changeling Non-Murderbone Ability. Targeted hallucinations. Rather then having a bunch of random hallucinations, these are targeted to make the person stung attack, hate or not trust the target. So if the Ling wants Kobe Goodman dead, they sting an officer with this, next time the officer comes across Kobe, they see him covered in blood, holding a weapon. And if they don't see him in reality, they see hallucinations of Kobe covered in blood and armed. when they attempt to chase him down, he seems to just disappear and escape.

I love this idea, next time I get paid I’m gonna put a code bounty up for it. This is great, would be even better if this power could bypass mindsheilds and didn’t reveal the ling on health scanners.

Didn't cortical borers have the ability to talk to their host? This just sounds like a rehash of pre-existing ideas.

Those guys and this are very different.

1. Those guys would either control you and grief you (make you walk out of an airlock) Or give you meth anti stuns and heals.

2. This is entirely a downside, that is slightly better then death. As now you are under an antags control with no obvious tells or a way to get out. (At least you aren't dead.)
