Here are some random ideas for places for a station to be.

In a desert

On or In a mountain

A station orbiting the sun

A station within a gas giant

A Station in some abandoned city

The station is a spaceship and moves

A station in blue space (HOW?)

R/Place

A station orbiting around a black hole

A Station in between a broken in half planet

A Station that legally doesn't exist

A station IN a planet

A station on a jungle planet.... SHIT

A station that is a boat and gets pushed around by tides

A station that only exists conceptually.

It's been suggested before but during high pop you do two stations on two different z-levels that are each the equivalent of a lowpop station and they are forced to interact through antagonist objectives on the other station and to trade materials with each other (like one station has an abundance of one thing, and a scarcity of another, and vice versa for the other station). Each station could have a different theme, e.g. NT, syndicate, Russian, golem, etc.

There's a few ideas bouncing around in my head.
1. Not a station at all. Escape Shuttle only round. Starting off after another round has ended. Purpose would be a palette cleanser, like pistols only rounds in Counter Strike. Players can start off as syndicates, changelings, whatever. They might start off with captains spare ID, Laser Gun, whatever. The shuttle could also have other shuttles crash into it, respawning players, and keeping up a chaotic and hopefully fun atmosphere.
2. Prison Station/Former Prison Colony station. So this could be classic Cops and Robbers set up, where the stations is half sec half prisoners, or 80% prisoners 20% guards. This map would change how the game is played, hopefully to be more fun. And for a less ambitious station, have Space Australia. As a former prison station, there could be a lot of flavor.
3. Corporate Takeover station. This could work either way. Syndicate buying out a Centcomm station, or Centcomm buying out a Synidcate station. Again, a lot of flavor potential here. If it's a Syndicate station, what kind of problems does Centcomm send their way? And if it's a former Syndicate station, what toys do they have? E-bow sec officers, Cap having a .357 revolver in his glass case instead of a laser gun, Teleporter having another high value object instead of a Hand Tele, and so on

Im surprised we dont have a teleporter station. Where you have to use bluespace teleporters/pads/portals to get from one place on the station to the other

cere station has quantum pads that take you places, but cere rework is barely playable

that aids station had that it was UH it was cerestation like the guy said

it's a bad station, though fun as a one-off

which leads me to believe that if your station requires telepads to get around it's too big

Monkey station/primitive station would be neat as well. Especially if it wasn't a space station, but built into lavaland
