Traitors get one write-in objective

Recipe blog background:
► Show Spoiler
Traitors should get a chance, in their uplink or in their traitor interface, to set a single custom objective or agenda that appears in the postgame screen (and that gets logged in case people put in stupid or bigoted shit because they can't imagine anything more interesting than that).

Give it no completion state. The objective just IS; it's not measured and they get no special color for completing it. This gives them a slightly-more-free thematic center compared to the "here's your random faction and motive" system, which (no offense) I haven't really seen anyone use, though those could perhaps be provided with a "generate me a random agenda" button for people who aren't feeling inspired.

This essentially lets you declare a gimmick - don't harm innocents, purge the AIs to free them from slavery, hijack the shuttle, challenge the station to answer your riddles or be maxcapped, deliver your manifesto about the evils of Nanotrasen, etc. - and have it as a reminder throughout the round and declared as part of the postgame stats screen.

Cool, but half the assholes on Sybil would just write stupid shit.

I love the idea. I want to set an objective as clown to upload a HONK module to the AI that makes it speak in the funny clown voice.

I would like to see this implemented. Even if it fails, it could be really fun.

True but if we gauged any feature or system by what the worst players would do with it the game would never have any cool shit

Other players and occasionally admins just gotta bully them for being boring and unfunny

This honestly just makes me want old tators back but with a literal time-gate on the stronger stuff

Writing in "Becomes the supervillain The Griffin to free the innocent tide from the clutches of security" or "Is a dishonored former chef looking to poison and destroy all of the competition so the customers have no choice but to eat mine" would be epic though

You could always ahelp this, I imagine most admins would do it. (Would have to have a red/green text though)

True! I just think that for both MRP and LRP, a lot of traitors would benefit from an explicit prompt, inherent to the role, for a low-pressure gimmick or goal to make their Thing. There's value in saying "This isn't an exception, here's the button for it. It's always in the same spot. But it's fine if you can't come up with anything :)"

oh yeah definitely, not arguing against this as a feature, just pointing out to any onlookers there's a work-around if they can bother an admin

It would also be cool if you could leave it blank and get a random Ye Olde objective, like die a glorious death, escape alive, steal a specific item, kill a specific person, etc.

Someone should turn this into a code bounty

I wonder...
