Deadliest Warrior, a bunch of themed combatants from across time and/or space (undead, owned by the devil, unfrozen by a NT-owned tv network, whatever) show up on the station and the last one standing (or with the most kills by the time the shuttle arrives) gets some sort of reward to play around with until the round ends.

A mode that's a cross between Xeno and Blob where a Marker appears on the station, giving off an insanity field and able to convert people into necromorphs, which unlike the cooperative xenos, necros compete over corpses to further develop themselves, though if the Marker is destroyed all the necromorphs melt into flesh soup.

Allow chameleon clothing to make it appear like you're missing limbs/your head so that people can try to play dead (obviously they'd still appear alive/unharmed upon closer examination).

Puddles of acid should dissolve shoes when crossed. Currently, such puddles are entirely harmless. Puddles created by uranium or radium should irradiate mobs when crossed.

Flies get a slight toxin resistance/actual increased healing from them. It takes a lot of vomit to be fed really and it'd be nice if the flypeople really could just live off of what amounts to as garbage.

Add a ghostrole ruin to lavaland that spawns a naked, augmented clock golem called Ningne. Ningne is literally Ratvar and the player whose ckey is associated with Ningne's mind will possess the actual Ratvar object if the cuckcult summons him. Guess why he's called Ningne

:honk: The clown shield :honkman: ! Almost totally useless for actual combat, as it has no armor values and a 0% block chance. Instead, when struck, it makes a high-volume, random annoying noise (both hand-held horns :honk: , the blob hit noise, Xeno hissing :xeno:, e-sword noise :toysword: , slip noise :peel: , etc). However, this 'shield' has an EVEN MORE annoying secret! It has a 1% chance of triggering a HONK BLAST, the same as the mech one. This blast also affects the wielder! :honkman: :honkman: :honkman:

I just came up with a real stinker of a shitty idea.

LOOT BOXES

Donations are replaced with microtransactions. For every dollar you donate to the server, you get one loot box associated with your ckey. At any time during any round, you can choose to open one of your loot boxes, which will drop several weighted random items. Common items would be really basic things like morsels of food and basic medical supplies. Uncommon items would be basic equipment like toolbelts, cuffs, flashes, and armor vests. Rare items would be things like EVA gear, insulated gloves, cyber implants, and advanced tools like the hand drill, jaws of life, and experimental welder. Epic items would be things like stun batons and head-of-staff specific items (that aren't possible steal objectives). Legendary items would be antag-specific items, steal objective items, and guns.

You'd actually have to be a fucking idiot to think that I'm proposing this idea in earnest. Loot boxes are literal cancer and this post is meant to demonstrate that.

If implemented, this is probably going to end up being one of those things every sane person ever disables at roundstart. With the recent radiation update, Geiger counters now have a ticker in them, meaning as you go into irradiated areas, you hear it start to click. However, some Geiger counters have an alarm that sounds if the radiation levels it detects is over a certain pre-set threshold (the only one I've heard was a two-tone high-low beep).

What if we added a user-configurable high-radiation alarm? It'd draw attention to a down user in a high-radiation zone, such as out in a hall during the rad storm or by the Supermatter, and would annoy the fuck out of everyone setting up the Supermatter properly. The user would be able to change the threshold at which it sounds (which ideally would be about midway between the -med and -hi .ogg thresholdds at roundstart) as well as disabling/enabling it. Alt-click resets the dosimeter, so it would have to be rigged to verbs in the object tab/right-click menu or UI settings.

Disclaimer: Please do not drive into irradiated areas like the people in the video did without proper protective equipment and training. The people in the video linked most likely contaminated their clothes and car, at the very least.

New traitor item for atmos techs: dirty bomb mix. Simply put, it's a canister containing some super secret chemical compound or some shit. On its own it doesn't do much. If you were to just release it into the atmos loop on its own it'd probably make people throw up but that's about it. When added to a bomb mix however it creates a dirty bomb that has all sorts of wonderful effects. The area around the blast zone becomes contaminated and causes radiation damage to anyone in it. It also causes clouds of caustic chemicals to linger inside the blast zone that melts anything and anyone it comes in contact with. The amount of clouds and size of the surrounding contamination zone would scale with the size of the explosion.

Needless to say it'd be an endgame weapon. Number 1: the atmos tech would have to have access to a bomb mix set up. Number 2: the canister it'd be in would be conspicuous as fuck so the set up would have to be done somewhere safe from prying eyes or at least transferred to a less suspicious canister

Decrease the x-ray rifles burn damage to 5, double the amount of radiation it inflicts on someone and give it a scope with x-ray vision. If EMP'd, will discharge a moderate amount of radiation in a 4-tile radius centered on the rifle and contaminate anyone or anything in that area.

The Advanced Energy Gun is turned into a conversion kit and will convert a taser/disabler/advanced taser/e-gun/laser into an Advanced Energy Gun, the adv. e-gun will no longer be rechargeable with an inducer, if EMP'd, roll a dice - if dice is 70 or below, minor malfunction, discharge a minor amount of radiation and stop recharging for 15 seconds. If 71-90, amajor malfunction occurs causing the gun discharge a small 3-tile radius of high radiation centered on the gun and electrify it for 2 minutes (anyone without shock-protection holdign the gun will be electrified while holding it). If 91 or higher - the gun explodes (equivalent to a C4 blast) and releases a critical dose of radiation in a 7 tile radius centered on the explosion.
Applying it to the captain's gun or the HoS's gun will not turn them into adv guns but they will gain their properties without the EMP vulnerability (captain's laser gains tri-firing mode and HoS gun starts recharging).

Interesting idea, as it encourages inter-department cooperation with sec providing the guns to be upgraded or cargo ordering laser crates for security to unlock to provide guns to be upgraded.

Re-work sleepers so that they don't automatically synthesise most forms of chemicals, they instead only synthesise medicines that are stabilisers or treat specific, non-harmful kinds of damage.

Sleepers now function like chemical tanks and can hold an amount of chemicals that is determined by their matter bins. Upgrading the matter bins allows them to hold more chemicals while upgrading the manipulators allows them to synthesize more advanced chemicals at the following levels:-
  • Tier 1
  • Epinephrine
  • Salbutamol
  • Saline-Glucose
  • Morphine
  • Tier 2
  • Oculine
  • Inacusiate
  • Potassium Iodide
  • Tier 3
  • Mannitol
  • Mutadone
  • Ephedrine
  • Tier 4
  • Omnizine (Because bluespace deserves reward)
  • Penetic Acid
  • Atropine
Sleepers also become hackable with different wires controlling different things.
Power wire - Should be obvious
Safety Limiter wire - Prevents more than 20u of a chemical from being injected, pulsing this wire will toggle the limiter and cutting it will disable it until repaired
Emergency release wire - Pulsing will make the sleeper click but otherwise does nothing, cutting this wire will prevent patients from escaping easily (they have to resist out)
Chemical Safety wire - Pulsing this wire will play an error sound. Cutting this wire will allow non-medicine chemicals to be added.

Emagging the sleeper will automatically override 3 of those wires in addition to scrambling menu like it normally does.

would be a good idea but forcing people into cryo or using the limited medical kits is a meh idea

would mean doctors have to rely on chemists which can be hit or miss

too good of an idea for this thread though

actually nvm it doesn't have the ear damage healing chem 0/10
