Repeat from long ago. Fridge magnets. Stick them on things. Putting them on the AI and Borgs adds harmless Ion laws for each one.

let's make xenos always have the GODMODE flag on at all times, move 4x faster, and have infinite plasma. also, let's let all the abilities of every xeno type be used by all xenos, because it only makes sense. also, the queen should have four times her current health, and have a passive jetpack effect so she cant get lost in space. it's only fair because she's supposed to be the strongest, right? let's also let xenos do everything humans can do, literally everything, but also do it 8x faster. it's only fair, they're the superior species, right? also, there should be no delay on making facehuggers (why would a xeno lay eggs? its an alien, sheesh! they dont need eggs!), facehuggers should have 20x their current range (and be able to burrow through obstacles), completely ignore any kind of masks or shields, and instantly turn the target into a xeno instead of having them have a chance to remove the larva. it's only fair since xenos are so reliant on facehuggers in the early game, right guys? gosh, xenos are so underpowered.

also, does anybody know how to make new species selectable at roundstart?

The one about giving them a jetpack isn't actually that bad. They do need some way to manoeuvre in space - so many aliens accidentally space themselves and can't get back.

Having said that, spacing the queen is an important plot point in Aliens as a final way to get rid of it. Giving them jetpacks would make them much more powerful and remove them further from the film canon.

Wizards should be able to get a finger gun. makes a pew sound effect when fired, cannot be dropped, and has infinite ammo.

Wizards should be able to designate an arch-enemy for an extra magic charge and make another Wizard who is in direct opposition to the original Wizard.
Their arch-nemesis has just as many charges as they do and roughly the same abilities but they both don't have access to certain abilities, like Lich. The Rival's goal is to kill the original wizard and accomplish their objective to prove that they are the superior Wizard while the original's objectives remain unchanged.

Both spawn on the wizard ship but can't hurt each other because neutral ground/contract magic/fiat from powerful arch-mages known only as "Admins".
For bonus fun, both take an apprentice for extra fun

Make the voice changer a mic system that can be placed in any (maybe make it impossible to remove the bug for balance's sake). If Sec suspects you of having traitor gear they'll test for everything half the time so this just protects against the gasmask=suspicious meta.

Actually this isn't a shitty idea. I agree, a major deficiency in stealth/disguised traitor gear is that everyone knows what it looks like and makes you look suspicious. Like an Assistant wearing brown shoes or a HoP carrying a gasmask in their backpack.
Speaking seriously for a moment, I'd like if the no-slips come in a random colour and the Chameleon Jumpsuit comes as part of a set (I.E. Jumpsuit, Shoes, Gloves, Hat, Exosuit, Headset and belt)

For balancing; the headset would be useless and incapable of transmitting or receiving (By default: looks like a non-departmental headset on examine), the belt is also completely decorative but can look like anything from a toolbelt to a medibelt or a military belt if you're an utter meme (looks like a black fannypack when not calibrated), the exosuit can look like most other exosuits but can hold a greater variety of items - like an O2 tank when it's disguised as a labcoat which makes it look odd. Similar to Changeling fleshclothes come to think of it but can be calibrated and removed with the downside of going haywire when EMP'd.

Add an emag effect to the gravity generator to have it randomly move the gravity left, right, up, down, pinning players and objects against the walls...

Additional objectives for traitors that by nature can't be tracked and are just there to encourage them to antag in an interesting way/give them an alternative if they don't like or care about getting greentext for their primary.

might be funny to make a joke item like this where if you attach a an energy dagger to an esword, you get the whole T shaped esword and every time you swing it you take some burn damage with a message saying it cuts into your hand

What if we added clown borgs that couldn't be synced to AI laws, their only objectives being to Honk the crew

They would have infinite, 5 minute cooldown banana dispenser
Look like a clown
Have a water sprayer
Airhorn cannon that makes people deaf and stuns them
blow-up cuffs that can be broken out of in 5 seconds
Made by putting 10 bananium in a cyborg exoskeleton then tossing in a brain

Is this the worst idea ever?

If we don't want every round to turn into swarmers, we could always make it so that if you emag an alien toy it can dispense an alien embryo into people. Aliens are way way easier to deal with than swarmers.

Only if admins still ban humans and lizards that try to communicate back in symbols, unless they type the full name out for each one.
