Overcomplicated Armor Rebalance/Rework.
Defense Values:
"Armor". Reduces incoming damage by %. (Infinite scaling with diminishing returns.)
(100 armor is equivalent to 100% extra health (or 50% damage reduction.) (200 would be 66% reduction. 300 would be 75%, and so on.)

"Plating" Reduces incoming damage by a flat amount. (Rare on armor but very effective versus small damage. Not as effective as armor against bigger sources of damage.)
(5 Plating reduces incoming damage by 5. Completely deflecting attacks that would deal 5 damage or less, reducing damage by 5 from other sources. (9 damage becomes 4.)

"Durability" The amount of damage the armor can mitigate before becoming damaged or destroyed, reducing the effectiveness or making it completely useless.
Higher Armor values mitigate more damage, meaning they can almost completely block the first few hits, but then become useless. Lower armor values mitigate less damage, lasting far more hits but preventing less damage.

---
Offense Values:
"Penetration" Percentage of damage that ignores armor (And plating). Could be scalar like Armor.
(100 penetration = 50% of damage ignores armor, other 50% is taken as normal.)

"Piercing" Flat amount of damage that ignores armor (And plating).
(10 Piercing on a 30 damage weapon versus 10 plating, 100 armor, would deal 10 (piercing) + 20 normal - 10 from plating * 0.5 from armor = 15 damage.)

"Shredding" Percentage of bonus damage dealt to armor itself. (damage mitigated by armor is dealt to the armor itself, which has its own durability.)
(30 damage, with 100% shredding, versus 100 armor, would deal 50% of the damage (mitigated by armor) plus 100% to the armor, and 15 damage to the wearer.)

Add cybernetic appendix - it does nothing except getting inflamed when you flashed. I mean it literally bursts in flames. Shitsec can "enhance" paroled spaceman with it so they'll become softer targets.

add a colander to the kitchen and make it necessary for preparing certain dishes like anything with pasta in

but make it so that adding wires, a remote signalling device, a lightbulb and a power cell along with a few other bits of random maintenance and/or stealable junk like machine components turns it into a psionic amplifier that gives you TK if you wear it on your head, thus incentivising the greytide to try and steal it (and also smash and strip down random machines or break into tech storage for the components)

Natural skin tanning.
Being out in the open, either unprotected EVA, or unprotected lavaland skirmishes, will cause your skin to darken.
Unprotected EVA is more effective in tanning you, as there is no atmosphere to protect you from UV radiation.

This is on a 10 second cooldown.
Finally you can make cock and ball torture a real thing.
Does not work on gender neutral or plural gender mobs.

8tc, comes with 6 30 mags and a balaklava that makes you randomly squat into the vending machine smoosh sprite and go "blyat" and has a 180 completely random spread when you absolutely must shoot up the station and still manage to not kill anyone in the process.
ops get a version that has barrel linings to make it only 90 degree accurate.
Bonus if you can lathe it stupid non-working attachments like scopes and tripod.
inb4 "it's not balanced" and you hate fun.

i was trying to do a space vietnam event the other day and i was disappointed to find that kalashinovs arent in the game so i had to make do with a tommy gun which doesnt fit in backpacks, belt slots, or armor storage slots.

All machines are now unusable. Words you say are no longer smart. You "forget" how to use certain items at random moments.

I'm well aware that you could have an atmos tech or scientist who's a complete idiot, but I don't know how you fix that.

Even worse design suggestion would be that specific big words become totally blacklisted by dumb characters. They literally don't understand the word autolathe so they can't hear it.

2 suggestions.

1. Ice Moffs.
Due to popular demand on one round, there should be ash lizards in ice box station....Though instead of lizards, ice moths.
FLUFFY ICE moths on Ice box station. Give them pelt armor, instead of bone armor. Balance them how you will. Instead of a tendril give them a big loom they donate clothes to to make more moths. I.e. They attempt to steal the clothes off the station and off other people and throw it to the tendril to produce more moths.

2. Expand the Plushes code
I want to start the game off with a plush trait, similar to a family heirloom. Add more plush variations in types and colors such as a red ash drake plush, ice drake plush, royal moth plush, ragged moth plush, xeno plush, etc etc. I want to start with a plush of my choice of type, coloring is random.
Damnit I wanna name plushies, I want to give them descriptions, If I'm making a plushie family it's gonna be goddamn beautiful.
Plushies mate and new ones are just born out of thin air, it's disgusting and too obscene. Give us Plushie eggs that we raise and care for and it hatches into a new plushie.

? to this, ash walkers are fun to play and it's a shame if Ice Box doesn't have anything similar. not a shitty suggestion and I would make this if I had cool sprites
