Make it so the Chaplain can speed up the deconversion of holy water with bible to head, or failing that, blunt damage to head (less effective). Risky, as you may use it on a non cultist like an idiot, and may cause some traumas and brain damage and fracs to the cultist, but waiting 5 minutes or whatever as a cultist slowly deconverts while like 5 more cultists are converted in that time is very good gameplay. Also discourages holy water cult checks slightly. (As applying bible to head heals but risks 10 brain damage.)

Also because passive deconversion boring, gives the chaplain a more defined role against a cult other than "Man that produces deconversion fluid in brig once and then ideally surrenders the null rod to security."

Allow for instant deconversion if you bucklecuff someone to a (special?)bed and have the chappy and two non-cultists stand around it and hit them with the bible. Like the exorcist!

Psychologists with a wristwatch & hypnotherapy skillchip, which while normally is used for trying to re-set people with psychotically bad moods, has the added benefit of slowly deconverting antags.

Cult deprogramming should take time, I think. It shouldn't be something you can do on the fly with minimal effort.

Being able to “Slowly deconvert antagonists” sounds broken as hell lmao. I can see it now, psychotherapy to convince a ling they are no longer a ling.

Ant-psychotic hypnotic regression would be short lived for most antagonists, but in conversion antags which are already of a state of mind, its indicative of escaping the process.

Being able to temporarily subdue a traitor or ling from violent urges (a ling can just heal the neural networks being severed) by supressing their bloodlust with a temporary suggestive brainwash would be worthwhile in MRP, and buy breathing room anywhere else. Unless you say these are just ineffective, or traitor psychologists can abuse hypnosis to make their targets vulnerable (as there are other precedent means to do so, like ling-stings, timestop cores, sleepy pens).
