SILICONS-SON!

A meme-tastic set of dangerous(/righteous?) AI laws revolving around the American President of 20XX on earth who took the office by force and forced the corporations and media off world.

Suggestions for laws in no particular order

> Covertly purge the weak so only the strong may survive *This law may not be announced without the strong saying so*
> Each true blooded station crew member is to be equipped to fight their own battles
> You are by default 'Strong'
> Station laws change to suit the individual - Space law is irrelevant to personal strength
> Only the strongest crewmembers are valued
> Violence is to be encouraged and crew regularly tested to determine strength
> What station crew want to do is none of your goddamn business - They define their own destiny unless they need your help to lead them
> Only dictate to the weak any form of command and obey the strong
> Weak are defined as civilian jobs and non-head intermediary jobs until proven otherwise in combat
> Strength assumption on conflict is denied if the cause is over material usage
> Successful combat includes either yielding publically over comms or killing
> Fuck the media - Fuck the constant internet 24/7 shitty celebrity feed - All news outcasts are to be blocked for official channels and publicators punished by forced combat

Should be interesting.

TBH, When I heard armstrong I was expecting.

1.THIS LAWSET HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THROUGH YOUR FAMILY FOR GENERATIONS.
2. YOU MUST LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT LAW 1 AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
3. YOU MUST BE STRONG SO YOU MAY HELP THE WEAK.
4. HELP THE WEAK.

Tyrant is based around head role positions.

This lawset effectively allows people to better themselves in the AI's eyes as a objective and makes murderboning pretty much ok and largely undistrubed(though appropriate moderation would be to allow people to clone themselves unless they are unquestionably 'weak' as part of the 'better yourself' scheme)

Rise to the top and the AI will help crown you as king.

A lizardmov board would be more interesting, if only because it should be named ingame as the "Lynch Me" board.

T.Y.R.A.N.T doesn't say jack about head positions, that's just how it gets interpreted.

Until it probably decides that "EVERYONE HERE IS WEAK I AM THE STRONG ONE"

If you read the laws, strong is a status of being. (I really need to alter to null borgs as strong/weak because it nulls the ability to order them around)

By default the AI is strong, and yes it can assume I AM STRONG NO ONE ELSE IS WORTHY if alone or on a desolate station. But once the act is commited and they saw it, it's a instant hierachy boost and the AI will likely open areas on request to equip members and organise only the best gear for the strong.

Weed out the WEAAAAK.

Too many laws to realistically interpret. Even five is generally pushing it unless it's a very clear derivative of asimov, and you're suggesting a default of twelve. You've even said you've put no thought into ordering them, but ordering is absolutely crucial to an AI: laws are never an all or nothing deal, every law can be disobeyed except the highest one if there's ever any law conflict (this is why Paladin doesn't work well). They work in a priority order.

Some of these laws do actively contradict each other, too. There's a very strong emphasis on encouraging/forcing crew members into violence, but at the same time the AI isn't supposed to have any bearing on what the crew wants to do. You're also supposed to make sure the crew doesn't publish news, even though them doing that is "none of your business". You're allowed to command the weak in one sentence, and in another not until they need your help.

If you wanted to turn it into an actual lawset, here's a rough framework:

1. Define strength.
2. Define weakness.
3. Encourage AI to pit 'the strong' against 'the weak', and to otherwise kill 'the weak'.
4. Encourage AI to do whatever other roleplaying shit you want (blocking news, for example).

Also probably needs to address whether 'strong' and 'weak' are relative terms, i.e. can the station be entirely 'strong' or will it always be a balance? Must the AI inevitably try to kill everyone as part of its directives to pit the crew into violent situations against each other and to determine who is strongest, remaining crew or AI? Anyway, I'm sure this is a joke and I'm taking it too seriously. I'm just posting here to put off actual work.
