Make it cost 9 magic points then it's balanced.

That's the point of this I guess. Also wizards are often shits so this fits.

It terrifies me to agree with Zilenan, but "round ending shit" is the definition of a wizard. Just look at his other abilities.

I have some memes for Wizards:-
Charles Barkely's Champion, AKA The Chaos Dunk
Give the Wizard the ability to buy a Chaos B-Ball for 8 points (the last point left over is for a mark of summoning, honk) that gibs anyone it's thrown at and gives the Wiz an incredible speed bugg + no-slip sandals. When used in hand will cause a delta alert as the Wizard collects enough power to Slam a Jam so powerful it cracks reality and causes the server to hard reset. Takes 10 minutes to collect enough energy.

Slave to the Beat
For the price of 5 points, the Wizard can replace all the hearts of living carbon mobs with cursed variants while a "beat" plays. Mobs can only move on the beat, including the Wizard.

Mage Hand
Gives the Wizard a weak version of TK (always requires LoS), can be toggled on or off. Costs 1 point.

Bugsby's Cat Retrieving Hand
Costs 1 point. Summons a cat on your location (why are you getting this you madman?)

Wizard's Chess
Summons a chessboard on the Wizard's location for 3 points and sends out a CC report saying the station has been challenged to a game of Wizard's Chess. The Wizard is immune to all damage, stuns, cuffs and doesn't breathe. Nothing short of admin deletion will harm them, but, they cannot harm anyone while the game is being played. The Crew must defeat the Wizard in a game of wits for if they win they become incredibly powerful, roughly on the same level as an ascendant. You can refuse to play but you'll have an invincible Wiz running around and being an absolute meme. (Careful! Wizards are known to cheat!)

Staff of Death
For the incredibly boring. Costs literally all your points even after summoning magic and guns etc.

AWAKEN MY MASTERS!
Gives the Wizard and 5-6 other crewmembers tarot cards for summoning stands. Makes the stand users true antags for !FUN!
Also makes the stand users incredibly buff. Costs 3-4 points.

Dwarf Fortress
Makes all the crewmembers midgets and gives them maxed out alcohol tolerance. The crew are given an advanced 5 minute warning that a Goblin siege is occurring and need to prepare accordingly. The goblins are friendly to the Wizard. Costs 5 points.

Animate Dead
Gives the Wizard the ability to animate corpses as simple mobs and can rally them to him at will. They are not sapient and will go down fairly easy. Costs 2 points.

Dwarf fortress is interesting enough for its own gamemode, dorf memes aside. I think once upon a time we were spitballing ideas for something similar based on hivebots PvE stuff but nothing ever came of it.
