Give the chef a real oven
Exactly what it says on the tin. I mean what kind of lousy chef JUST uses a microwave? It doesn't even have to function differently, could just be a reskin.
Also, messing up a recipe should have a tiny chance of starting a small fire. Just for fun.

and you could shove people into it!
Confront them with annihilation, and they will then survive; plunge them into a deadly situation, and they will then live. When people fall into danger, they are then able to strive for victory.

Ah... Is that in responce to the above or the burning bodies one?
I am located here, lurking in your posts, leaving piles of transparent wordings and being confused. Oh, I also try to map...
This, this is an example of what I leave for you.
Also, these days I mostly play Ursit McStation, mostly because I like roleplay.

For the oven/burning people alive code you could probably steal shit from the suit storage units.
(AND THAT'S WHY I'M NOT A CODER FOLKS.)

Apparently someone was working on a cooking overhaul at some stage.
The most excessive signature on /tg/station13.
Still not even at the limit after 8 fucking years.
The evil holoparasite user I can't believe its not DIO and his holoparasite I can't believe its not Skub have been defeated by the Spacedust Crusaders, but what has been taken from the station can never be returned.

What purpose would an oven serve if it's identical to the microwave? None.
I code for the code project and moderate the code sections of the forums.

Except you at least wouldn't make your cakes in a microwave.MisterPerson wrote:What purpose would an oven serve if it's identical to the microwave? None.

Re: Give the chef a real oven
Sounds fun. Separate recipes by whether they get made in the oven or the microwave, that sort of thing. Of course, then you might want people to add hobs. Could it go too far?
Cooking people Hansel and Gretel style ("Suffer not the ungodly witch to live!") would also be neat. Anything to make the chef's job more difficult/interesting can't be a bad thing.
Although at the moment cooking updates are fairly pointless if any virologist at all releases a useful disease that requires nutriment to cure it. Nobody ever eats, the chef fucks off, and that section gets boring.

I'm all for ovens being added, even if it's just to move a recipe from the microwave. I hate shoving everything into a microwave.

I wish good diseases would make you hungry quickly so high nutriment food could actually be useful, and people could even take it with them (madness)Cheimon wrote:Sounds fun. This is what has always killed me about cheffery. Viro eventually just obsoletes the whole section with either weight even or nutriment curable beneficials.Stickymayhem wrote:I wish good diseases would make you hungry quickly so high nutriment food could actually be useful, and people could even take it with them (madness)Cheimon wrote:Sounds fun. Vending machines make chef stupid
But you also have to remember that cooking is art. Who cares that those peasants do not appreciate it.
