Persistent Death

If you die during a round from causes other than nuclear detonation or admin fuckery, you won't be spawned on the station z-level and wont play a station job the next round
At round start, you'll randomly get a shitty job with a chance to get one or two interesting jobs.
(Deep Space Miner, Central Command Test Subject, Central Command Scientest, Central Command Inspector, Deathsquad Cadet, Military Liason, Central Command Janitor, Head Engineer of Nanotrasen)

It gives people less of a incentive to die, ghost roles are still accessable to these roles after death. This also requires someone to map a full working central command station.
the general "you can fuck everyone over" roles (see:central command inspector) will hold a ckey whitelist of like 300 days or something.
if you ghost or suicide as these roles, you WON'T be given a ghost role.

admins would be encourage to interact with the deadjobs in order to prevent them from just leaving, it's ment as punishment to death (there currently is none)

EDIT: Also dying prevents you from using the same name and appearence for 5 rounds

can confirm that in another universe, where i do know how to code (the perfect universe) the multi stage tactical corgi's complete with telescopic laser eyes with a forty stage deconstruction program just got a debuff.

tbh i'd be willing to give this a shot

just make sure the death stuff is in "the next round", not "the next round you play".

shouldn't be held hostage to playing a round and surviving to clear your shit up

This totally won't be exploited by trolls and valid greifers. "What's that? i can put people out for an entire round? TIME RAKE IN THAT SWEET OOC SALT". There's already plenty of incentive to stay alive, no one wants to die to be stuck in ghost the rest of the round, those "ghost roles" aren't always guaranteed and usually a lot more limited than being a regular human.
