Remove disarm

The last bastion of true rng combat. replace it with tring to yank peoples arms off. A true disarm(hulk only)

Make em skill based like xeno disarm has been turned into. Sure, xeno disarm is *crazy* strong, and we don't have to go THAT far, but something in that vein of no RNG involved would be nice.

For those who are not aware, xenos are now guaranteed to ONLY and ALWAYS disarm any item in your active hand (nodrop items do not count). If your active hand is empty, they will instead ONLY and ALWAYS tackle you, knocking you down. Nodrop items count as an empty hand, so that won't protect you.

Also, as for bastions of RNG: Shields are still very much RNG dependant, and I'm really not sure how to make them work outside of something like directional protection, but that'd be really shit because our characters turn as they move, so unless you allowed us to smartly lock our directions, or backpedal/strafe easily fluidly, it wouldn't work very well.

RNG is what makes disarm an interesting mechanic. It makes mobs of players more dangerous than lone individuals, it gives ranged weapons a strong advantage, and it's not so predictable that melee weapons are useless.

Hold down Ctrl and tap an arrow key to lock your direction? It'd be nice to be able to actually back away from people.

I like the system of gloved punches infinitely more than disarm. Honestly it would be the one good use for stamina, shaky bled out guy is easier to wrassle it all makes sense.

This is dumb.

RNG elements, especially in the area of PvP, are what make the game interesting. Want to combat RNG? Get the advantage elsewhere [IE surprise your opponent, or just use a revolver].

How about you can hold an item in 2 hands so you can't or have a veery low chance to be disarmed and when you fall you have a 50% not to drop your weapon. Stuff that requires 2 hands are not eligible for this and stuns are still a 100% drop
