Simply put, the idea is: Allow ghosts some control of singularity. Singuloose and Tesloloose would also basically turn deadchat into Twitch, but that's just a natural side effect.
I did hear that singularity used to simply follow ghosts, but that it also often resulted in situations like traitors with lots of ghosts following them being walking singularity beacons. I believe in this case, something like this could still happen, but it'd much less predetermined. Since it would operate on the same manner as all these "Twitch Plays X" streams do, the singularity's behavior would still be very much erratic.
Obviously, every time any direction is chosen by any individual ghost, there would be a cooldown and singularity would still often go in its own random direction. We could also copy the whole anarchy/democracy thing from twitch - where it either listens to every ghost, going back and forth in random directions or it listens to the majority over a period of time, resulting in any conscious action be extremely slow.
In general, I simply felt that ghost influence would make engine breeches much more interesting.
