nerf hallucinations

i've been knocked out by hallucinations for minutes at a time on numerous occasions thanks to ye quality stamina damage

please make it less of a hilarious stun-a-thon

More creepy stuff, less "oh not the hallu-singulo again". There's so many possible effects already coded, one sends a fake announcement that the shutte has landed on the station. Probably this could be fixed by removing the obnoxious ones and changing the odds a bit.

reducing fabled god-king of balance stamina damage values across the board so you don't get knocked down literally every single fucking time something trippy happens to you would certainly help

hallucinations should just switch between heavy rotating and heavy skewing, with funny colors and sound distortions

I think it was brought on because there was only like 3 actual hallucinations and everyone ignored them, making them useless since [to no surprise] no one roleplayed them out.

Would it be possible to make it so the hallucinations themselves do stamina damage and can potentially knock you out instead of just having you randomly pass out while also making it so you can attack and "kill" the hallucinations? Basically the idea would be that for the person hallucinating, he's locked in a constant battle for survival against horrific monsters and psychotic assholes trying to murder the shit out of him while to everyone else, he just looks like a fucking moron running around swinging for fire extinguishers and shit at absolutely nothing.

Hell might serve as a way to make hallucinations mildly useful and/or fun. Go somewhere quiet, pop a small dose of mind breaker toxin, and learn to be more robust by fighting your hallucinations.

I actually like this idea. Make the messages unique so people know that the person is hallucinating. Just being able to prevent the stuns at the cost of occupying the individual would be a huge improvement. Perhaps adding some hallucination weapons (or changing current items into weapons) to allow the player to embrace the roleplay would work?
