So, with the 2 chems you can use patches and they work fine, but!

You can also use syringes filled with them but they give you toxins damage, can they be made to not give toxins damage if injected with? I mean injecting yourself, is basically the same as applying a patch.

I'd imagine it's because drinkable chems are way easier and more versatile for administering than topical chems, IE it's easier to carry around a big bottle of a chem and drink it bit by bit than it is to carry around a bunch of single-serve patches. At least, that's why I'd imagine they work like that

This is because syringes call INGEST.

they should probably call INJECT or something instead.

That way you can shoot yourself up with the styptic and get the over time healing but not the instant healing, while a patch will do the instant healing + overtime, and the pill does instant tox + overtime healing of brute

1. Syringes still cause a bit of brute damage when fired from a gun
2. You're going to get absolutely lynched if you run around shooting people with syringes

Yeah but if they have styptic powder in them, the small amount of brute wont matter.

There's plenty of other medicine chems that can be injected to heal brute or burn damage.
IRL, styptic powder and silver sulf are applied on you, not injected or ingested.If we make these two chems injectable the other healing chems would become useless.

It'd be cool if chems from syringes that you get shot with mix with your blood. Then shooting people with strange reagent and shit will spawn corgis.
