Every vidya ever

Post by QuantumDelpha » #775

Thought you guys might like to take a look at this.

http://pastebin.com/EuxZMbWT

Basically it's a compiled list of every game (all major consoles, PC, and notable mobile ones) as of 16th of April.

1+ internet if you can name a game not on it. I spent a solid 10 minutes ctrl+f'ing every obscure game I could think of and all of them were there. I mean, IT HAS FUCKING EUROPA 1400: THE GUILD. I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO BOUGHT THAT GAME EVER.
This dog has ringworms, hookworms, tapeworms, roundworms, rabies, ticks, fleas, cataracts, brain tumors, prostate cancer, testicular tumors, ovarian cancer, coprophagia, diabetes, various mental illnesses, along with a laundry list of other issues so long that Santa can't even check once.

But god damn he is the best pet you can get for .99 cents.

Battle Raper (2002, Illusion) (Windows)

huh ok thats weird probably some weird little game

Battle Raper II: The Game (2005, Illusion) (Windows)

they made a sequel

The games in this series are 3D fighting games with gameplay similar to Soul Calibur. In Battle Raper melee, when the player attacks a female character enough, her clothes fall off.
Battle Raper games have a single-player story mode, a multiplayer mode, and an Extras mode which is unlocked after finishing the storyline.

As opposed to the first Battle Raper, the sequel actually does not feature rape. Once a fight against a female character is won, the game enters a special mode where the unconscious woman lies on the ground in front of the player who now has to heal her wounds. The Replay mode allows the player to have (consensual) sex with any female characters that finished the storyline with.

this game had a physical pc release

Because Baystation's parent community actually is Bay12games and their community, much like TGStation's parent community is /tg/ - Traditional Games

Also, I'm not seeing my eroge on here - Anything by DELTA/TROIS, CARYO, half of the stuff by ILLUSION (Notably Artificial Academy but also AG3), nothing at -all- from Lilithsoft. I mean, you have Rapelay, you have the entire rance series, so you're counting eroge & nukige.

I mean, you've got fukken Re-Volt and Airfix Dogfighter, but you don't have even the most well-known eroge? F:S/N, Saya no Uta, Katawa Shoujo but not Steins;Gate? Step up you fucking casual.

Doesn't have Yobi's Basic Spelling Tricks, 1993
The puzzles got legit hard, but the voice clips are what makes it so memorable to me and my brother.

Does have the Spectre games, Crystal Caves
Doesn't have Deathsquad, an old helicopter game where you had to bomb certain targets then land back at bases (had permadeath, ejecting, and rankings). Same era as Scorched Earth, might have been freeware and I can't find it on Google at all so I don't blame them.

Doesn't have ANY OS/2 games. Most were freeware I think, but notably missing is Galciv 1 and 2 for OS/2, which came out years before they rebooted the series on Windows. Sold in boxes with a paper manual. Stardock also made a stripped-down windows port called "Star Emperor" for an IBM fun pack. Wow... apparently you can still pay $15 to upgrade your copy of Star Emperor from the pack to an Advanced version. All for OS/2, of course. http://www.stardock.com/products/soft_fun/staremp.html

They did correctly list Rune and Kohan Immortal Sovereigns as having Linux ports! That was rare back then. I had no idea Rune had a PS2 port so kudos there.

Haha they got Yahtzee's Trilby games (7 days a stranger and all that). Good list.

Edit: I really miss playing this with my brother. We'd take turns between shooting and steering, which worked about as well as you'd expect in a tank fps... http://www.stardock.com/products/tob/
