They need to pick their names before the round starts, not during it, though.

Yeah the any special names, like Silicon, Clown, Mime and Chaplain religon and stuff can be pre named in the Setup Character menu. So its all automatically filled in before the round even starts.

Special names like clown or chaplain need to be changed in the Setup Character menu before the roundstart. Otherwise changing your name after the round has started causes issues, because a traitor that has you as their target will see your old name in their objective instead of the new name.

If you want to do a certain gimmick, you have to decide it before the round starts.
