I think it should break open an airlock after 15 seconds of use and break open bolted airlocks after 45 seconds of use.

Should be able to slice through the plate of normal walls, too. Like the Jedis did, maybe an in-game message like: 'you stab the energy sword into the wall and begin to cut a hole in the wall' and it leaves a hole like thermite does.

While we're taking the effort of being realistic about our sci-fi reference, it should one-hit enemies and cut them in half while its wielders gain superpowers.

Yeah, there's a sith syndicate bundle that has DNA injector with 100% TK in it, agent ID to name yourself a sith, chaplain sith robes and double/dual-wielding esword.
