Making a real dinner

Post by aradsten » #431500

You know where people eat? Yea lets make that into a real dinner.

Just put some fanzy tables instead of that ugly ass counter and bam. Could also have menus and so on and kitchen could start with a book on how to be a good waiter.

:d20: Would create additional roleplay possibilities
:d20: Would make the second cook more useful
:d20: sounds good too me

I tried having dinner with my lizf three times
the first time singulo showed up because our waitress was a trait'ress
the second time an engineer showed up and it was time to *unsheathe the desword, after which security beat our asses before finding out it was a toy
the third time the mime who was supposed to provide music committed suicide, and then my lizf threatened to plasmaflood because she had escape alone

Honestly, I prefer the mess hall to be relatively empty. It allows the chef and bartender to customize it to their liking. I usually end up just deconstructing furniture in maps with prebuilt diners like pubby and omega so I can make a setup that I actually like.
