In this case the whole cliche of "not knowing what you're up against" is scrapped, so you will know you're going up against xenomorphs (the name of the ayys are subject to change I think) along with what they do

Chad marine mains know that you wrench vents and pipes to block xenos, while they can get in they cant use it as an escape.

It requires only one small tool and you don't need goggles or a fuel supply.

To provide additional information regarding this issue, as Rohesie already mentioned we don't have a first-contact rule here of any sorts or any hard restrictions regarding meta-knowledge in general with very few exceptions that are purely for balance reasons. The commander is free to prepare a plan that involves mentioning xenos as marines know about them because humans have fought them before.

Currently, there are two exceptions to this, mentioned in the rule precedents.

Rule 2 precedent 4: Marines are not allowed to remove or weld the ship’s piping before there is a credible threat of hostile xenos on board. This is mostly for balance purposes.
Rule 2 precedent 5: Xenos are not allowed to camp the LZ at round start. This is mostly for balance purposes.
