Ban reason and length: Stern warning - As a non-antag roboticist, onehumaned the asimov silicons and added a fourth law telling it to pull pranks on the crew. Silicons decided that genocide would be a hilarious prank, resulting in a plasma flood and a whole lot of dead people. Supposedly PDA'd the AI not to cause too much harm, but there was too much going on for me to look into bwoinking the AIs and stuff.

Your side of the story: I had recently learned how to create AI uploads and that science could print modules, so I went on a few round spree of uploading prank laws whenever I could like the good little shitter I was. I hadn't previously run into an issue with an AI taking this to mean murderboning, so being the brainlet I was I thought my law was air tight. My intent was only to have the AI annoy and spook the crew by doing things like bolting people into rooms, messing with tcomms or screaming about fake operatives, but I failed to make this clear as I wanted to see what the AI's themselves would come up with. After realizing what a colossal fuck up I just caused, I attempted to reset the AI's and stop them from killing everybody. Unfortunately, the damage was already done.
Why you think you should be unbanned: This is not an appeal to remove the note itself because I recognized after the fact that it was obviously fucking stupid of me to one-human the AI's in addition to the prank law. I explicitly told them not to cause harm, but SHODAN decided to despite that. What I would like to appeal is the wording used in the note at the end "Supposedly PDA'd the AI not to cause too much harm, but there was too much going on for me to look into bwoinking the AIs and stuff." This adds an element of uncertainty about my true intentions and I'd like to rectify that. A simple change to "PDA'd the AI "No harm unless I'm in trouble" before the AI began flooding" or something along those lines would be good if the admins see fit.

In hindsight I probably should have told SHODAN "do not do that", but because I had just told him to not cause harm, I readily assumed he was kidding around.

SHODAN began messing with plasma in atmospherics 30 seconds after that PDA message was sent telling him not to cause harm unless I was in trouble. Unsure if he decided to interpret "in trouble" in his own weird way as there were no communications during this apart from the message that I thought was a joke. It doesn't appear Windows Vista took part in the flooding.

Only purge removes zero/ion/core laws, the reset just removed the "play epic pranks" law. It wouldn't remove your standing order to not harm unless you're in danger though.

It's scummy to upload onehuman as a nonantag, but you did tell SHODAN not to harm, it should take responsibility for the flood because it was disobeying a direct order.

Yeah, I learned that purge doesn't remove Law 0 later (note is from over a month ago). I know it's scummy which is why I figured I shouldn't ask for complete removal of the note since even though I told him not to harm, I still one-human'd.
