Deus Ex Human Revolution

Just picked up Human Revolution on Steam. Enjoyed it, up to the first boss fight against a middle aged man who is apparently made completely out of depleted uranium and can instantaneously grab anything within a yard of him, yet has the vision of a myopic fruitbat wearing dark glasses and moves at the speed of continental drift.

my goddamn immulsions. What is the point of gritty realistic gunplay when the game randomly throws you into a fight with a man who, for reasons left completely unexplained, has the ability to take 50 pistol shots between the eyes and just keep on trucking.

I beat him without too much trouble, but it still grates on my nerves. What the actual fuck, if augs of this sheer durabilty exist why does the 10 trillion dollar man die to a single hand grenade.

that is not a interesting boss fight. that is a brick wall with a big gun and a 1% chance to kill you via grenade every 30 seconds.

Yeah, Human Revolution is really fucking fun, but the boss fights..... I don't even know. Although I've heard that Directors Cut fixes them, and the DLC story has a boss that you can sneak up on and take down easily.

Apparently Eidos outsourced the boss fights. It's still a great game, but that was just stupid.

So, how about that mobile game that was "ported" recently? Hear it's a decent game on the mobile (minus the instant resupplies and microtransactions) and a really shitty game on the PC.

Wow no wonder that portion of the game sucked so god damn much. Every boss fight I had was awful.

I don't get it though, because in the Missing Link, the one boss fight you have you can either slug it out with him, or stealthily sneak up on him and choke him out/arm blade him.
