Your side of the story: There are 3 instances on this night where I can recall head's lockers being involved (correct me if there's more).
In the first, another assistant had busted into the Captain's locker and taken the goods before or soon after I had joined, before giving me access with the spare. I do not believe there was a Captain at the time.
The second, another assistant and I had dumped ourselves into the bridge through disposals and walked right past the acting captain, briefly stopping to talk to him before taking the locker for ourselves right near him.
The third, I had taken the gun out of the HoS' locker (not the locker itself) for 3 reasons (this one may have been the same round as the first):
A. A moth was trying to kill me and I needed a gun to defend myself
B. The HoS had been on the station a while and had not taken any of his gear for himself
C. Shit getting stolen is part of the game
None of these instances occurred at roundstart nor did they have a negative impact on the round any further than any other IC issue. They also occurred during lowpop hours (<40 players) and maybe extended rounds(?) where there isn't any real potential for other's experiences to be harmed by it.
Why you think you should be unbanned: This note is inaccurate or misleading on a few fronts, as it's missing the context these actions occurred in. In the first instance, there was no Captain around and I hadn't been the one that did the deed to begin with. In the second, the acting Captain was aware of what we were doing and didn't care. In the third, I have what I consider 3 valid reasons for what I did. I do not consider this to be "repeated offenses" of behavior that I'd argue isn't anything beyond an IC issue. As far as I'm aware this note wasn't prompted by anybody ahelping.
By FatalX1's own statement, this note is leading off a note I had previously gotten from KangTut that includes "Greytides by stealing heads of staff lockers (HoS and Cap normally) and will steal sec gear including the secway and any gun he can get." This previous note was not given for rule breaking behavior, nor was it given as a warning as it was initially hidden by KangTut until it was made visible to me by Nervere. The note given by FatalX1 implies that this is ongoing and repeated behavior by me, and I'd challenge you to give examples beyond a couple rounds here or there over the last few months. I'll readily admit this behavior was very frequent from me in the past when I received the hidden note from KangTut, but this note paints a misleading picture about how I play the game now. I do not believe what essentially amounts to "I saw him touch a locker that wasn't his a couple times" warrants a note on my account.
Unfortunately I can't provide logs for timestamps and whatnot because they're fucked right now.

The other assistant, Rusty, only took the spare, and you helped yourself to the gun and he gave you all access (and he beat you to it but you still hacked in whereas he took the disposals route, and you didn't know he was doing that)

You stole his whip and attacked him to near crit with it so he came back for it, so you initiated that conflict, hardly a valid reason to go "I need a gun to defend myself"

Someone not taking their gear is hardly an excuse for you to take it, and you HID the HOS locker in maint, for no apparent reason

Whilst getting shit stolen is part of the game, I notice you doing it often so I felt the note, as a warning, is fair

Appreciate it. You're probably right about the HoS locker, I may have been thinking of a different round. As for the moth, I snagged the whip out of a box that had gotten airdropped and booked it. Obviously because I did this he came after me and tried to fight for it back, so I whipped him enough to slow him down and get away. Logs don't have a way to show the disarm dance people do with each other but I didn't grab it just to go full Belmont on his ass. Speaking of logs, is there a separate repository you guys are able to pull those from? The usual place is empty.

We have to grab them from the servers themselves right now, which means it's all raw logs. Typically there is a database page with all the logs on that players and admins can use outside of the game separated into raw logs (for admins) and parsed logs (for players). Unfortunately due to moving the database and the subsequent DDOS attack that page is broke and even if it was working won't have logs past a certain date. All rounds are still being logged server-side so those rounds aren't completely lost at least. It's a pain for everyone involved.
