[Laharl Montgommery] Phil Smith - Perma ban

Postby TeomanTheGreat » Tue May 21, 2019 9:20 pm #494918

Post Content:
Byond account and character name: Byond account: Teoman The Great Character name: Phil Smith
Banning admin: Laharl Montgommery
Ban type (What are you banned from?): Servers
Ban reason and length: I was banned from terry ( and everywhere else) because I was a free golem during the disaster test round and the admin said I subverted the ai and became an antag golem. Permanent
Time ban was placed (including time zone): Around 5 PM 5/21/2019 Eastern Time United States aka -5
Server you were playing when banned (Sybil or Bagil):Terry
Your side of the story: I wasnt the one to bring up the kill all humans thing that was a different golem i was made leader after. i wasnt the one to subvert ai either that was another golem when the other golems starting getting ideas of golem asimoving ais i decided to say why not. Also the chat log that was brought up was when we were thinking of what laws to give it after the other golem got the idea.
Why you think you should be unbanned: It wasn't my plan to kill all humans I went along with it because another golem said we should do it. Also we never got a chance to kill any humans. And finally it wasn't my idea for the plasma law mentioned.
P.S. I don't think I deserve a perma ban but maybe a shortened ban

Still, my support will always go towards the rightful Lord of Yurop, God-Emperor Donald Trump the Trumpst. Trumpingrad for life. He'll make an indiscriminate number of countries great again.

You meme.

Anyway, I actually wanted you to appeal this, so glad you actually decided to make one.

2 questions :
- Do you remember who brought out the "Kill the golem" idea?
- Why did you think this was a good idea?

1 I don't remember who made the law
2 I thought it was a good idea because none of my fellow golems seemed to be against it also most of us were probably bored and wanted some fun. Sorry

Right so, let's go over this :

1. was kind of a trick question. The golem that actually uploaded the law was actually perma'd already - I'm waiting on his appeal. But you cooperated with him on this, which is why you're here.

As for N°2...

The lavalands golems, for all purposes, should act peacefully, unless there is proper escalation for it.
This means not giving the AI a law to feed plasma to the crew, as fun as it is.
Especially if it means sabotaging a experimental gamemode test run.

I'll be decreasing this to a two-week ban in your case, once I can.
