Ban reason: as an assistant, attacked and took over sec, including brigging and full stripping 3 sec officers because of the actions of an unrelated 4th sec officer. The three sec officers then burned to death in a plasma fire, because they had no gear and no ID. I get that shitsec is annoying, but ahelp it or limit your IC revenge to the officer in question.

my side of the story: so I was just going about my business in the changing area when a security officer with some weeb name came up on the and another guy just trying to get some stylish clothes and he yells "your under arrest" for literally no reason I didn't even have a backpack at the time and the other guy looked like he just got on the station, then the officer started shooting at us with a disabler we expertly dodged his beams and he ended up dying of lack of oxygen because we were in an area with no oxygen at the time. We decided that security can not keep the people of the station safe if their officers are brain-damaged enough to do something like this officer just did. we took that officer id and walked into security and proceeded to arrest all the officers for roughly 3 mins for being unrobust I did throw one into the perma-brig for only moments just so he would not escape while I arrested the rest of security, but without any warning, security started to fill with plasma so we quickly started to pull the officer out of their cells but this proved difficult with all the glass shards on the floor because me and my comrade did not have shoes. we managed to get the officer into the medical room of the brig just before the plasma was set alight burning all of security, my friend and I decided we should escape through maintenance with the officers who were with us but just as we were about to go in I stepped on glass stunning me for a moment and my officer was dragged into the fire by a borge I ran after them into the fire but could not keep up almost dying and when I got back to the medical room the other officers that I was not watching because of my rescue attempt for the officer I was dragging were consumed by the flames of the roge ai and thus my reign over security ended with the lives of the officers being blamed on me.

why I think i should be unbanned: I personally did not murder any officers in this endeavor I only wished to give the crew a more lenient and more robust security force and when the fires started to destroy security I tried my very best almost giving my life to save those officers but the robotic claws of the borgs trying to stop us were too sharp and thus I failed.

I understand that shitsec is annoying, but as I explained in the ahelp, the sec officers you attacked when you broke into the brig had done nothing wrong. The single officer in question died before you even began your assault on the brig.

The brig then fills with plasma, and the sec officers burn to death because you are wearing their IDs, and they have no means of escaping. You tried to save one by dragging him away, sure, but it should never have gotten to this situation in the first place. As I said in the note, you should have either ahelped the shitsec, or taken IC revenge on the officer in question. Not invade the brig and attack entirely unrelated officers. I honestly think, looking at the logs here, I was being too lenient on you with just two days. Either way, this appeal is denied.

wait is there no voting system or anything? the banning admin can deny it with no input from anyone else, I would really like to get more opinions on this matter because in the end, I was not the officer's cause of death the ai was the one who killed them I feel like the blame on their deaths is being put on me and that's the reason I'm banned. I just don't see this being a critically devastating break in the rules even worthy of a ban let alone a 2-day ban for a first-time offence, for my first time being negatively talked to I would think id be given a warning for something that I think is not very serious or at most being removed from the rest of the round no disrespect but I just think that this punishment is a little harsh for a first offence.

A headmin can overrule the decision, but no, there's no voting system I'm afraid. I'll leave this open in case you have anything extra you want to add to your appeal, but I think the ban will have expired by the time a headmin looks at it.

naa its fine ill just do the sentence thank you tho for looking at this again I really don't try to ruin others rounds I had a plan in mind to try and get the officers to recognize me as the new hos but the ai boned me ill be more careful in the future tho I do like this server I used to play on hippie station were everything was allowed pretty much so I'm still getting used to a more strict station.
