I do feel a bit bad for my treatment towards them, but then again I have little sympathy people who post their nsfw/borderline shit in discord, especially when that shit is children. At the end of the day being unbanned won’t stop people from making fun of them for it, it’ll just provide them with a new medium to do so.

At this point someone might as well just let him back into the discord even if it's just on probation. He's unlikely to re-offend after this experience and if he does people around him will be eager to report. The argument could be made that we don't want people like that on the server or to take the chance with discord's mod team but in my experience we have no shortage of awkward degenerates on the discord. They'll probably just rag on him every time he pipes up anyway so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
