The Official Ratman Case File

Postby wesoda25 » Sun Jan 13, 2019 1:19 am #468614

I could've made this more dramatic and well written but I felt weird writing it so I'll make it a lot more basic. Roleplay is always bad, even on forums.

I was walking through maint when I found it. There, behind a series of 3 false walls, was a bloody, dark maint room. In the middle stood Ratman Jones. After a brief exchange, he attempted to feed me liquid gibs. Eventually I escaped, but not before he tried to cuff me.

I later revisited the room, and made copies of 3 pictures I found on the ground.

I noticed that he was constantly playing a beautiful piano song. I don't know how he did it, but his victims bodies constantly played the song too.

The next shift, I signed up as detective. I quickly got to gathering information.

Ratman was a 57 year old engineer. Oddly enough, when I tried to print a picture of him, it was blank.

With medbay bombed, I started my search in science maint. At the entrance, I found what might have been a sign of Ratman.
Ratman trail.png

However, the trail soon ran cold. He was not in abandoned medical, this time.

Getting desperate, I decided to check suit sensors. Thankfully, he had maxed his.

The trail grew warm in vacant office. He was very close now.
Near Ratman.png

Finally, I found him. He led me inside of his base. Soon after, he began to beat me. Thankfully, a borg saved me as I entered crit.
Ratman Attacks.png

Healed, I returned to the scene of the crime. Ratman was gone. All that was left were his victims, a moth who died immediately after he started attacking me, and a lizard. All the while playing that sickly piano song.
Ratman Victim.png

The trail cold yet again, I restarted tracking Ratman, for his sensors were still maxed. He seemed to be near the bombing site that was medbay.
Tracking ratman pt 2.png

After all my effort, I was let down. Ratman was dead, the trail gone. Beside his beheaded corpse was his infamous plague doctor mask.

Despite all the information I had collected, I was more confused than ever. Perhaps in a following shift, I will learn more.

Memes aside ratman you're fucking awesome don't change man. We need more people like you. First time for over a year ss13 has felt fresh and exciting to me.
How Much Does Crushed Stone Delivery Cost?

Summary: Gravel Delivery Prices
Minus crushed rock costs $12-$35 per cubic yard while clean crushed rock costs $30-$50 per cubic yard. Delivery and spreading can double those prices. However, the more material you order, the less the total cost. Delivery is usually free of charge up to 10 miles.

Relevant: https://www.kompareit.com/homeandgarden ... stone1.png

Crushed rock is a type of gravel that has been mechanically broken down into small pieces and sorted by size. It is a highly versatile product, used for driveways, pathways, flower beds or as a base for concrete, pavers, asphalt, retaining walls, sheds or foundations.

Crushed rock is a very strong and durable material, and it offers great traction. It is available for delivery by the cubic yard, typically by landscaping supply companies that also sell products such as mulch, sand and soil.

About Crushed Rock Delivery
There are two basic types of crushed rocks: minus and clean. Both are available in a variety of sizes and colors, but they are used differently.

  1. Any crushed rock with the word minus in the description (3/4-inch minus, for example) will also contain smaller pieces of rock, dirt and/or sand. This type packs down tightly, making it ideal for established driveways without drainage problems, as well as a base material for porches, patios, walkways, driveways and the like.
  2. Clean crushed rock does not have the smaller pieces of rock, dirt and/or sand. If it is advertised as 1/4 inch, all pieces are that size. Because clean crushed rock does not pack down tightly, it is not ideal as a base. But it is great for new driveways or those with drainage problems. It also works well for decorative pathways, walkways, plant beds and flower beds.

If you’re unsure of which type to buy, ask a professional, particularly if you have problems such as excessive erosion, improper drainage or muddy conditions.

Crushed rock is typically sold by the cubic yard (27 square feet). Before you place an order, you’ll have to url=https://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/construction/square-footage-calculator.php]determine the square footage of the area you need to covero/url] and how deep you want the rock to be. As a guideline, one cubic yard covers about 324 square feet, one inch deep. Similarly, it covers 162 square feet, 2 inches deep.

pPea Gravel Cost
Expect to pay between around $35 per cubic yard or $40 to $45 per ton for pea gravel delivery. The price will decrease significantly for large quantities of pea gravel. If you are looking for a color other than gray, the cost will increase.

Pea gravel is a small hard stone that is about the size of a pea. The most common size is 3/8 inch. It is smooth and generally round with no sharp edges. It is frequently used in home gardening and decorative landscaping projects such as accenting flower beds and gardens.

Cost of Crushed Rock Delivery
The price of crushed rock depends on the type and size you select, and the amount. It is also heavily influenced by your geographic location. Prices in big cities are easily double what they are in many rural areas.

  1. Minus crushed rock is less expensive, ranging from about $12-$35 per cubic yard, not including delivery or spreading.
  2. Clean crushed rock usually ranges in price from $30-$50 per cubic yard, also not including delivery or spreading.

Delivery and spreading charges vary, too, but in many cases they will double the price. The more you order, however, the less per cubic yard delivery charges will be.

Ratman is a nice guy, dragged me into maint, didn't kill me, showed off his collection of dead mice or as I liked to call them 'mousewitz' then he told me off for eating a bit of one. Would visit again.

I see Ratman quite often when I'm a medical doctor. He's always plundering the morgue for bodies.

how many people do you think know that is a thing while commonly playing here? either way, i see no crime with someone wanting to play something that they thought was really cool yet is on a different server.

this would be like seeing someone put on a rat mask, betray someone, and go OOOOOH I GET YOU'RE LIKE THE SKAVEN FROM WARHAMMER FANTASY AH GOOD ripoff MEME MAN

despite this being a station meant for /tg/ i feel like that example wouldn't understood without me saying "it's from warhammer fantasy"

One time in a low pop extended admeme everone is an antag round, i was hiding out with Ratman and he seemed ok, so I didn't revolver him in the face. Then he murdered me and made a creepy musical display out of me and the CEs bodies.

Will definitely shoot in face next time :(
