Your side of the story: I, as a sec officer, had come across two people in the library fighting each other and went in to look to see what was going on, but seemed to be consensual, so I decided to leave it alone, one of them had shoved me, a lizard name Swept, but I decide to ignore it since whatever they seemed like they were having fun. A minute or two later I had walked by the library again, and the two people looked like they were leaving, but then Swept had taken the bat they were using in the fight, and thrown it at me, so I went to arrest them for assault. I get them back to brig, they're screaming that they didn't do anything over and over, and I put them in for two minutes. While serving their sentence, I bring a medibot to them to heal their wounds they got from their library fight, and they ask to be let out, I say no that they still have 30 seconds left on their timer, and then they start slinging a bunch of insults at me, so I put thirty seconds more on their timer. They fling more insults, I added another thirty seconds. They then say "When I get out of here, I am going to murder you", so I baton them, take them out of their cell, and get ready to start putting them in perma, when they start screaming that they were joking. Now, let's go over this part of the note "perma'd a player for making a death threat against them, even after they stated it was a joke", and "Threats like this, that was also obviously a joke doesn't make anyone instantly valid, neither grounds for perma". Saying "lol jk" after making a very explicit death threat does not make it a joke, and even if we are going to assume he had no intention of going through with it and that he was truly joking would not matter because the person on the other end of that threat does not need to make that determination. It was a clear death threat, which YES does make you valid to that person. Now, I was a sec officer, and am bound by the rules to take this kind of situation and dole out a more held back punishment for it, and I decided very justifiably that this was a permabrig offense. Even if I were to leave them in permabrig for the rest of the shift, it would have been justifiable, especially since this was also ran by the warden who agreed to it and oversaw the transfer.
They were put in perma, and eventually their fight buddy from the library was too for something else. However the warden wanted to make things more interesting and started giving the prisoners stuff like flashes and kept having to have the other officers intervene from them shoving him and trying to break out. They do however escape to the front permabrig lobby, grab their toolbag that was never secured, and run back in and start making spears. We again have to go in and confiscate the tools, where they again get into another shoving match with sec and attempt to break out. They were both eventually disablered, tools taken, and released back into perma. Another few minutes go by and even despite all of what's already transpired, I and two other sec officers go in to tell them they're being released, when Swept just simply refuses, and tells us to leave, and when I say that we were going to let them out and begin leaving, they don't object or follow us to stop us and accept, they just stay and we leave. They then break out of perma into space and get back on the station.
After a short search and finding an unknown with eva suit on the station, I ask them to reveal their indentity, and they speak and it turns out to be Swept, so I go to baton them to re-arrest them, when they take out a medical circular saw and attempt to attack me with it, but get batoned again and arrested.
Now do remember they had already made an explicit death threat against me personally, and then now take out a weapon to try and make good on it, and fail. After being re-arrested, they were put in the perma isolation cell because permabrig was already breached and they couldn't stay there or they'd escape again. The shuttle docks and I board, and once again see Swept free, and go to re-arrest. I baton, cuff, and take them off the shuttle, and put them in the departures sec checkpoint and attempt to exit, when the door behind me is shocked. I attempt to open the windoor and leave, but the ai is now closing the windoor so I cannot climb on the table and leave. They then bolt me in. Some other people come over and get shocked as well, and eventually the door is opened and I leave. Someone now goes into the checkpoint, unbuckles Swept, and brings him on the shuttle. This being the extremely small emergency shuttle made it hard to get around and fix the situation, and already the borgs were opening the shuttle brig door for people, and someone was attempting to uncuff Swept, and obviously since they've already attempted to attack me with a lethal weapon, I stun the person attempting to free Swept, grab Swept, and space them from the shuttle.
Why you think you should be unnoted: "The note's contents or existence is unjustifiably harsh to the player's standing in the eyes of admins reading the notes." "Notes that contain admin opinions that unfairly paint the player in a bad light are one example." While in the dealing of this ahelp with the admin, I had told them of a situation where I was involved with a similar thing, made a threatening joke to sec, got perma round ended for it, and was told that it was perfectly justifiable because you are not allowed to make death threats to someone IC and not expect to be dealt with. Swept was being released from their punishment even despite everything said above, declined the gesture, and then attempted to attack me with a 15 brute weapon in the end and failed. When being detained afterwards, someone wanted to try to free them, and with no way to reasonably keep them secure since the ASIMOV ai was aiding them, the borgs were opening the shuttle brig doors to help people in, and said death threat and attempt to make good, they were spaced. They ran up the escalation ladder and fell off.

The original incident was caused since I tried to throw the bat at Lepi and it hit Declan instead as he walked by.
Declan spent most of the round watching me and Lepi in perma through the glass instead of taking care of both the wizard and the xenos on the station. When Lily Armstrong broke me out of perma I died and was revived in medical by since Lily dragged me there through maint. I picked up a bag of medical supplies and walked out and after breaking into EVA Declan saw me and chased me down to go back into perma. I waited there for a few minutes until a sec officer came to get me and just let me go free.
After I was free I walked into the bar and found an AI core there who asked me to take him to departures. I did and after the shuttle came I dragged the AI core into the shuttle control room. Unfortunately, Declan saw me doing this and despite protests from a lot of people, he stunned me and dragged me into departures security to handcuff me to a chair, presumably so the shuttle would leave me behind. A nice engineer broke me out of the chair and I jumped on the shuttle literally a second before it left with the engineer.
Unfortunately Declan could NOT cope with this and after stunning me he threw me off the shuttle mid-flight killing me 2 minutes before the round ended and actually helping the wizard accomplish one of his traitor objectives to kill me. (Although the Wizard was long dead at this point.)

Yes I spent much of the round outside the permabrig watching you guys because that's part of the job of security, to watch and guard prisoners to make sure they're not acting up or breaking out or killing each other etc. And I was even doing it more so for your interest, if at any point you'd have talked with me and apologized and spoken to me instead of constantly telling me to fuck off, I'd have let you out right then and there. But the warden kept messing with you guys and at least three times had us all have to get into a scuffle to get things back in order, which I even did tell him off about and to leave you guys alone so it doesn't keep happening, because all that kept doing was constantly keeping the mood elevated and making nobody want to meet each other in the middle and compromise.
I was even the one to make that initiative, but just like the previous attempts at talking, you told us to buzz off, and so I left. And if you had not taken the circ saw out and swing it at me who knows how that would have turned out, we'll never know, but you attempted to attack me with a very dangerous weapon after already saying you were going to murder me, and despite my best efforts to give you the time to cool down, you didn't want to accept my offer.
And the stuff about me not dealing with the xenos and wizard is not at all relevant, and not even true. I defended the miner to kill the wizard and was personally involved in killing the xeno queen and her children anyways with the help of a shit ton of crew that I called in after being captured. There's two parts of sec duties, brig work and patrol work, I was doing brig work.

btw i updated the note, i didnt have time to talk it over but it adds up what happened on the shuttle after killing the two borgs
might be validhungry or not, there's a difference about who is making the death threat, if it was a armed person/murderer/EOC, or if it was someone who got arrested for a very minor offense and also locked in a cell, who also clearly stated it was a joke, im not sure if your intention with adding 30 seconds for little insults was meant to also make their punishment worse but permaing someone for a single commentary who is locked in a cell for a minor offense, incapable of doing anything, is not okay, even if it's perma and not ''death'' it can lead to their death and execution and as well round removal, if you're perma'd you have two options (stay and be locked forever from the round/escape and get KOS), of course you did slightly make an effort to ask them if they want to be released but they weren't going to listen to the officer who has been messing with them the whole shift, specially adding time for insults, insults which are completely common by anyone yelling ''SHITSEC'', they obviously would've felt its a bullshit reason to get perma'd for a commentary, if you really wanted them to be free you could've stunned them again and freed them, so i think that's one of your mistakes in this note, about the escape of swept and the circular saw, it honestly seems like you're trying to use the death threat as an excuse there.

3.he was in a eva suit, slow and unarmed, i sort of doubt you were completely doomed and being chased by him to your death.
and it did lead to his death, swept kept getting chased and eventually spaced, as it is one of the only options for a perma prisoner.
insults, normal thing, i guess it's easy as an officer not to say anything because you're shitting on someone by brigging them, but when you aren't, all talk right?
moving on to the borg part.murdered two borgs because the AI was apparently shocking doors, this is what both borgs were doing
and right after that they got beated to death. the second borg wasn't doing pretty much anything but standing there and died
for the AI logs, his logs are sort of weird, the AI was shocking random doors around the station roundstart and then unshocking them after, but roundstart he shocked a door in departure lounge, he unshocked it after, and then at the end this is the only log that there is, which is the AI unshocking a electrified door in escape
alright so im pretty sure there's multiple notes about this, including my self, i have one somewhat similar for blowing up borgs without talking it out first or gathering evidence, because it could've been some random tider who shocked doors, dont jump to killing borgs inmediately unless it's an emergency or overwhelming.

I'm appealing the note outright as it is meritless and nothing I did was against the rules.

I said that after one of the other officers told you guys that if you fought to the death that he'd release the survivor and you guys started beating each other up with stools. And being as you were a cat and a lizard, it was funny.

two "accidents", the first shove that was ignored, and a bat toss, which again, if they had stopped and say "oops" they wouldn't have been brigged in the first place, because usually when people do accidents like hit someone or toss something into them they'll tell you it was accidental.

Full stop you cannot tell anyone you are going to kill them and expect no retribution. If I was an assistant and you said that to me, I'd have full justification to outright gut you and hide your body. I have no obligation to determine whether or not you are going to follow through later on, and not defend myself. That is an instigation of conflict and I don't have to wait for you to do it. Now being sec, I have to follow some procedure for this "comment", and if I had left the person in perma for the remainder of the round, it would have been perfectly acceptable. And STILL I chose to want to release them, which they refused.
This note is bad.
