Add more character slots for BYOND members please

I'm not sure if this would be a code change or a config change, so I apologize if it's in the wrong subforum. Let me know if this is the case and I'll remake the thread.

I want to clarify this is very low priority and more of a personal request.

I have my own selfish reasons for wanting more than the current 8 character slots that come as a boon by having a BYOND membership. I'm wondering if it would be too much to ask for a few more to get added, granted that there are no hard limitations.

If there are, or if this would be a problem, it's all good. I "had to ask".

I don't think it has much of a code limit. I thiiiiiink I've seen it in the config.

Personally I've been dying for character export (last I checked we didn't have it) and that /is/ a code change

we also have a preference export function with no way to import it to a different server

An export tool would be neat for everyone across the board, yes.

In my case, by this point I've already manually "exported" my existing characters across the servers. I'm asking for this config/code change because I have more statics I would like to add for the first time on tg, and it would be great to be able to do this without having to use one slot, and then having to "overwrite" it every time. I like the permanency of the slots and even if I have some statics I use less than others, I enjoy playing them all and don't want to get rid of any of them :<

So yeah I think this would be a good config change for players that want permanency of their characters if they ever wanna go over the limit of 8 slots, but I can just speak for myself.
