Why should this appeal be accepted?:

So basically, the central thought of this thread should sound something like "the naming policy is good, but sometimes we make exceptions".

The rest of it, then, must be me trying to proove that I actually deserve this exception.

We all know we make exceptions to naming policies when we find the name exceptionally contributing to the character (and hence - to the game). I won't bother listing all known exceptions (most notable would be lizards using a single-word name), I'll just try to convince you why my name is good for the game.

...Imagine a meteor. A big, glowing meteor of unknown nature, which happenes to be purple.

THE GLOB

Now, Glob is something Jeb (aka Guestify) agreed to live with, except he asked me to add a denumerator to it. I probably could have lived with something like Glob II, but anyone who have already placed a bit of their soul into a character probably knows this itch I feel when I'm forced to change something that is perfect.

And yeah, John Glob is anywhere near this terse, crystalline perfection:

So, basically I'm inclined to fight for my right to drop this denumerator and wear my name "Glob" as something that is good on its own. Unique and special.

Hey Glob, thanks for making this appeal.

To be completely honest, it didn't feel right denying you the Glob name but at the time I didn't really feel like it had anything to do with ethereal naming and it felt low effort. But after seeing this appeal I can see that you're actually willing to put effort into GLOB as a character and I'm willing to let you use it.
Glob is dead, long live Glob.
I'll edit the note as soon as I can
