the chef has a whetstone which boosts a melee weapon's damage by 4 if it has less than 30 force. if it has 27-29 it just maxes it to 30 instead of going further, boost a fire axe and have fun with your 4 shotting weapon that can break everything, cultists have a cultist whetstone which boosts it by 5 if it has less than 40 force, which makes cult longswords just 3 shotting weapons on unarmored people
