- Evolution Points allow you to progress to the next caste; Evolution Points are given by Evolution Towers and having burrowed larva
- There are no evolution restrictions! If you have the points, you can evolve into any higher-tier Xenomorph!
- Achieving your Upgrade Threshold allows you to become Primordial if your Hive Leaders have bought the Primordial upgrade for your tier
- Shrike can instantly evolve into Queen
- Shrike's Upgrade Threshold is the equivalent of a Tier 2
- There are no Tier 3s that can evolve.

Be a living shield. Spin to stun and block Marine's retreat paths out of tight areas. | Intermediate |
Sentinel |
Subdue threats with your toxic spit and stacking damage-over-time. Use your sting to increase your armor and finish out your duels. | Intermediate |

Be a bigger, faster, better Drone. Make mind-boggling resin mazes, and dig tunnels to flank Marine positions. Heal with the power of a beam, medium-strength pheromones, and eating healthy fruits! | Easy |
Carrier |
Juggle different types of facehuggers on the frontline to disrupt Marines directly, or create traps to infect them as they advance. Bring your own weeds wherever you need to go! | Intermediate |
Hunter |
Be a better ambusher, with the ability to become near-invisible. Strike with armor-penetrating attacks and stun with pounces. | Intermediate |
Wraith |
Distort spacetime to teleport yourself, Xenomorphs, and Marines in and out of reality. Think with portals. | Hard |
Bull |
Charge in and out of engagements, goring and smashing into enemies along the way. Become a faster and more flexible, but much less tankier alternative to the Crusher. | Hard |
Puppeteer |
Harness the power of necromancy to bring the hoard of husks onto Marines. | Intermediate |
Warrior |
Use your close-quarter combat abilities to beat Marines to a pulp. Fling 'em far into mazes to secure kills for your team. | Very Hard |
Spitter |
Fight at medium range using acid spit and destroy structures and emplacements. With persistence, victory is assured! | Easy |

Defiler |
Use your noxious gas to disrupt and harass Marine pushes. Use your toxin-filled claws to prick Marines for direct delivery of toxins. Defile anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in your grasp for too long. | Hard |
Widow |
Spawn spiderlings and snare Marines to stun them and knock them over with webs. Lurk in tight spaces to get the jump on anyone unfortunate enough to go too deep. | Hard |
Ravager |
Rip and tear. | Hard |
Warlock |
Blast Marines with the power of your mind. Conjure up a reflective shield and turn enemy fire back on them. Hit the library when you're done. | Hard |
Behemoth |
Roll up, create earthquakes, throw rocks, and bend the earth to beat up Marines. Also eat rocks. | Hard |
Crusher |
Charge at and ram into fortifications. Fling people around like ragdolls and stomp them to knock them over. | Intermediate |
Praetorian |
Use your strong pheromones and spit to act as a solid ranged support caste on the front lines. Stack neurotoxin on Marines to debilitate them when skirmishing. Use your acid sprays to deny areas and trip people up. | Intermediate |
Boiler |
Bombard threats from a long distance with powerful spit attacks. | Easy |

Terrorize and pertify Marines. Bring true darkness and strong pheromones to the world. Mass teleport Xenomorphs to advantageous positions and overwhelm the enemy. Only one per Hive. | Very Hard |
