Silvertorch had saved us! Now that the graphics engine is changed it is now cross platform and we can start working on the graphics. basically we aren't dead yet.

Yeah it is going suprisingly fast actually we allready have new 3D models for placeholders and the graphics engine is being changed for a multi platform release. Also we have new sprites for all the tools and they look awesome. My favorite though is definatly the new multitool.

Its going to end up being a bastardized SS13 lite with a couple of cool things but never have mules. NEVER. What happened to the remake that was actually going places? Well it will take a while for the remake to get the level of content we have today, but it also took about a decade for classic SS1...

For anyone still courious we are using 3D that will look 2D there is a explanation for it on #Spacebus that Ikarrus pointed out.

Allready asked about graphics on there forum. Well see how it goes from here.

I sorta wish that Supernorn would have left the graphics in because now the allready small teams are all going to have to make there own art and it will take even longer to get a decent game out for people to play.

I think that one of the best things we can do to keep this remake from dying is just spread the word. Annoying people in OOC and Deadchat maybe even doing a full announcement on the site i don't know I am certain that given the opperotunity to leave the junky BYOND engine most people would happily j...

SS14 has a Phabricator page we are going to move everything from the current graphical stuff to OpenGL in order to allow Macs and linux to play.

I honestly dont know what you guys where expecting it to look like. This game isnt near done and they took a lot of the art assets out because of legal reasons. I know, I was implying with my comment that I'm looking forward to someone making new sprites that don't look goofy. This is a good thing....
