Here is what I'd imagine the AAS to be. You can open and close it. It has powered(animated like the rest of the tcomms machines) and unpowered states. And three lights that you may play with as overlays.

I'd overlay a rain/snow image over the screen like the white fading screen when you are crit or mind breaker. You'd have to track which areas are "outside", use the Entered()/Exited() proc to apply or remove the overlay and have some sort of way of controlling weather.

I got two styles for the south facing. I can re-color them quickly so the colors don't matter much. I want to know if you like them.
