Re: Whats your favourite Anime?
Last Exile pushed all my buttons with its premise alone. Of the handful animes that I watched, I love it the most. I liked the first Fullmetal Alchemist as well, but Brotherhood's pacing felt more like an "in previous episodes" retelling (which it was) than an actual story, to the point wh...

What I mean is, people find stuff disturbing. Some may not enjoy excessive esword carnages, bombings or plasma floods. Oldlings sucking off their prey and newcultists sacrificing people can trigger some who are faint of heart as well. I, personally, coming from an all-white community, may or may not...

Are we really using the idea of antags being in charge of making the round fun as an excuse to ban ERP? Even in one of the earlier examples in this thread, there were three antags. Two were ERPing, one was bad at the whole antag thing, which resulted in a bad round or something. Do we ban them all f...

I still haven't figured out what was the idea behind Soul Memory, either. You're just putting shackles and chains on admins and players. There used to be a rule that that admins may follow the spirit of the rule and game. Which I do. Is that a policy for admins? Or does intentionally asking someone's age count as ban baiting? Because, after all, you don't really have a reason to know someone's age unless you're trying to score with the topless medical doctor IRL.Deuryn wrote:-No witchhunting. Asking about age ist verboten.

That's why I really like Skorvy's idea of making surgery more MGS3-like, as opposed to shifting the spotlight to surgeons or making chemistry incredibly complicated. /vg/ also has some nice ideas. I do like this policy as a "maturity restriction", of sorts. But, I agree with the point bgobandit made before - this better not turn into the GameFAQs age policy, where mentioning that you are underage is an automatic ban until you manage to provide a proof of otherwise.

But, yeah, I really like that system. Something like that could work, but we'd definitely need to rework surgery so it doesn't require being buckled to a table, having a bedsheet nearby and having another person to actually do it.
