Re: [durandan] SargonRose - Beating a mime to death
Sorry for the late reply; the ban has been lifted. The main issue here is talking to admins instead of just leaving the server, make sure you do that in the future.

Whitelists are not the answer. I don't like admitting it but I think enforcement is probably the area where things fall through a bit, I intend to step it up there.

Re: Test 2: Policy Boogaloo
Then why does asimov lawset have the whole 'unless it violates the first law' blah blah? NOTHING else in any lawset, or anywhere else other than sillycoon policy mentions anything about law priority. Since Asimov more or less quotes exactly Isaac Asimov's Three Laws, which explain the priority for ...

Allow me to answer Pascal's point about questions first. While you can find out a lot from all the other information available to admins, talking to people to get their side of the story is basically my standard operating procedure. It helps me gain a fuller view of what happened, to get some insigh...

If the other headmins are ok with closing the complaint they can do it themselves. Not fucking with admin complaints against yourself is just good policy tbh

RIP. It was a fun game. In my experience the community was ok, but the forum was a complete shithole. I'll miss giving the Incarn a boombox with the Papers Please theme already playing and shit like that.

"Hint at this Law and its existence. Do not state this Law." is my favourite ion'd Law to add a little tension during slow rounds, although probably not after everyone has seen it here. "The Captain, [me], is the best human." is fun. Jarsh getting into the upload unnoticed is my ...

Re: What can you do about scientists breeding xenos?
This sounds like a textbook case of a situation where the captain is fully within their rights to get the posse together, raid the relevant department, and demote (or just shoot) the relevant people. Considering what happened as a result of that, even more so.

Seen a lot of Aloraydrel in the late night/early morning AU timezone. Fast on the draw with the adminhelps and keeps a level head. More than happy to say promote. Also has a weird habit of beating me to replying to an ahelp and then typing literally exactly what I would've done. Seriously, it's frea...

Having just seen them juggle 3 adminPM conversations with less than helpful people and an awkward situation, no sweat, has cemented my opinion of Shadowlight as a solid admin. I'd be happy to see them as a gamemin.

This rule killed my nascent ERP career. I've regretted agreeing to it ever since.6.You have to give up ERP. Is this an issue?
Seriously though I always thought some kind of written thing was a good idea, though I'd like to see what reasons were behind it being phased out.

I want to do a mini event based around currency and a syndie trader where the crew can trade in things for the currency and eventually buy things with it if they don't have enough things of value. http://pastebin.com/GJr91Q7V Oh baby, good times. I'm glad all that's behind us and we're a much more cohesive, friendly, and non-judgmental community now :honkman: On a more serious note I don't really recall ever having a problem with Terbs. I'd support an unban but would prefer it with short pro...
