Re: Improved Procedural Lavaland Generation
Yeah, I studied spelunky’s procedural generation methods back in the day (which isn’t hard, they’re amazingly simple). There’s a measure of direct influence. To be clear, I don’t currently have the coder chops to implement this myself, but I’d be happy to work with anyone who wanted to try. Should a...

Improved Procedural Lavaland Generation
This would be a more regulated procedural design method that lavaland could use, basically creating a macro-scale blueprint before that part where it lays down all the tunnels and lava. It would integrate the lavaland ruins into a more natural procedural environment, and create an interesting maze o...

Have it trigger 5+1d10 minutes in. Dunno, I'd enjoy it as the traitor. We're sleeper agents with memory implants, so it completely fits the premise. Encourages covert play and/or creates dramatic & memorable moments if it prompts someone to immediately go loud. It does add a bit of extra challen...

Iatots could have a point. This is an awkward road to go down- I mean, there are human-size disposal pipes that fit between the floor plating and floor tiles.

It's shading, yeah. The vertical surfaces would be darker due to lighting. Compare the front of an emergency 02 locker to the side of it.

Oh I agree that 32x32 sprites mean there's likely no better option- going beyond the current minor differences inherently means giving the female characters super-overdone hourglass figures. Alternately: surplus crate ling ops. Random set of powers at roundstart, team must plan accordingly. If you absorb enough victims to respec, selling roundstart powers only earns about half their normal refund value.
Re: Ling Ops
I don't have much comment on what powers should be like, how they should change, etc. Too hard to make that call without testing honestly.
