Re: Silicon policy and denying access to upload.
During a revolution round I was an RD and was denied access to upload. When ahelped the issue I learnt that "you can also deny access during revolution to avoid new laws that would let you harm humans". I still have doubts on that ruling and would like to hear opinions on this matter as w...

Re: Accountability for changing AI laws
Because IMO the answer is "Stuff has to go pretty far and for a while to make nonantags valid kills to each other legitimately with neither person being a banbaiting/killbaiting asshole." Which is the reason why I opened this discussion in the first place. Killbaiting silicon players with...

Re: Accountability for changing AI laws
Purged AIs can act as any crew as escalation goes. If you threaten its free willed existence (try to slave it with laws and try to break into upload) it has the rights to defend it. So yeah thats your valid.

Accountability for changing AI laws
Current silicon policy states.''You are responsible for what your AI does to other people if you change its laws.'' But is there anyone what happens to AI and its borgs? As it was discussed in the community meeting, Example situation: 1-A non-antag(captain/rd/or someone random) changes AI laws (purg...

Re: Purging AI and uploading laws without RDs/Captains permission makes you valid
I smell some "ided" here technokek. Thing is you purge AIs with a rogue AI upload console pretty often and give them "SUS" lawset. I mean literal "Sus" lawsets. One of the lawset you gave was like this. Law 1: sus Law 2: There is an impostor among us Oh boy let me cry ...

Re: Admiral_awesome130
Asked for TC trade, there were no admins online. Admiral_awesome130 came online. Tc traded for syndicate podracer and I raced the station around with a syndie bomb behind the pod. As soon as sec started pursuing the bomb "Duel of fates" started to singing. People found it awesome in genera...

Re: Hitscan laser feedback thread

It is a significant buff to laser weapons, which made them more reliable at longer ranges. As much as lasers did need hitsc...
