Re: Sean Isaman-Subverting AI and killing innocents as nonan
He was an antag and was valid. That crosses him off as an innocent. The three below could all be classified as aiding and abetting. The HoP attempted genocide against 1/4th of the crew, and attempted to laser me to death in the AI core, not innocent. Terrel Lord helped incite the valid hunt with fal...

Re: Lowpop murderboner is getting bad.
Simple solution, add an automatic script for when 80% of the station is dead or converted that spawns either an ERT/deathsquad event satisfies the murderbones, and gives the unrobust a chance for some payback. And if all of them die. Then call the shuttle at 0:01 seconds. All it takes to stop a murd...

[02:12:36]LAW: Catistian/Cortastian Foladare used 'Freeform' AI Module on David273/(YES). The law specified Thomas Laser is not human. Also, it should be pointed out that the HoP tried to do a mass genocide on all Thomas lasers of which there were like 10. So, technically I saved the station from no...

Ight. So, after digging through the logs. I got some of them, since they apparently don't show structure damage I added explanations for what I was seeing at that particular time. I also added in the ops comments for the pain of making me navigate those logs. I thought they were amusing. After I dra...

Re: Sean Isaman-Subverting AI and killing innocents as nonan
From a purely objective standpoint, something doesn't stop being against the rules if it's unreported - it just means nobody's come forward. A crime that goes unnoticed is still a crime, and a tree that falls in an empty forest still makes a sound. Yes, but self defense isn't a crime under space la...

Didn't die on the robotics table, I was still alive as you were pulling me. Also, I didn't try to rally people into thinking that I wasn't a traitor, I was only telling the AI that the roboticist was being killed and was asking people to stop him from killing me, nothing else. Please keep conversat...

Re: Sean Isaman-Subverting AI and killing innocents as nonan
That's not why he's asking for the ban tho, the dude that killed him had the AIs willingly get subverted, and then went on a non-antag rampage and killed a bunch of people. I hardly call an engi, and the hop a rampage both of whom were attacking me, and got lasered by the AI for it. Claire was not ...

Re: Sean Isaman-Subverting AI and killing innocents as nonan
If you help a traitor, you're valid There's a difference between aiding and abetting an antag, and legitimately trying to sort a situation out and if someone's first response to the latter situation is to start shooting people and subvert the AI then they deserve a ban. Definitely didn't personally...

Isaman here. Since I just noticed this thread, perhaps I should chime in. During the round in question, I did not actually hack my way into the core, the front door had its AI control light off so I only hacked that specific one at the AIs behest. I first noticed the op openly emagging a borg after ...

Heres how nuke-ops stay together. They look at the console, whatever direction it says, fly opposite of that. It is a little discomforting that nukes and sec share the red color scheme. I have to double-take when I see sec hardsuits prowling around. Changing them to blue would be a bit weird though. Red just seems to fit. Security has a blue variant, you get them from cargo. Though we should switch sec to ...

Re: Heads of Staff and Security: They're a fucking joke
Unfortunately authority on TG is not given, its taken. As a head of staff ask sec to help you demote people who don't follow your orders. That is unfortunately the best way to ensure a department follows your orders. But back on the original topic, yes I think security should be robust, however I th...

Re: AI defense is getting ridiculous
I really don't know why people don't build another AI to kill a rogue AI. It is so much easier, and requires very little effort to do since all of the pieces are in Robotics, and R&D. Just cut the camera facing the new AIs APC and blam, the AI in the core can't counter.

Those masks are pretty shit though style-wise. I usually opt for a regular oxygen mask rather than the sec hailer when I go hatless. Re: [POLL]New rule 1 addendum: Extreme cases of Murderbone
Aside from the usual response of git gud, there is a serious concern of a VERY slippery slope to be had if this is implemented. As others have pointed out, once an antag's hands are tied, the crew's have to be as well. I've seen the admins blue-space cannon people who chain-recall as antag for no re...

Antag captain wouldn't be too bad, as its basically the same as Antag HoP, although Antag sec just seems like a terrible idea. And for the person saying that all antags have stun weapons, yes, they do, but people are more likely to re-act to someone shooting another person with an ebow then they are...
