Nobody would play med chem since that job now entails all the annoying parts (making mutagen for ungrateful botanists and healing chems for needy docs) with none of the fun parts (making CLF3 foam nades to torch botany). A single foam name deletes the whole kitchen on any map (even better if the PR gets merged that restricts CQC to just the kitchen). Even if you'e no antag, an IED lance, taser and so on will take chefs down easily.

I think it would be very helpful for the future to not throw in unrelated goodies in a binary poll. I also think there are many other more important issues to start votes on, for example, removing oranges from the coding team... when do we hold the vote on that? wish you could disable it in APCs without needing access I'll open a PR later today where anyone can toggle it by alt+clicking the APC (as long as alt+click isn't already used by something else). That way players don't have to wait for the interface to render and I don't have to touch TGUI, win-win...
